About Mr. Geoffrey Godfrey, FNP-C
Geoffrey Godfrey is a skilled board-certified Nurse Practitioner who is excited to accept new patients at Medical Arts Associates in Bellevue, WA. He has worked with individuals suffering from Substance Use Disorder, chronic pain, and associated stigmatized care for decades. He works daily to end the stigma attached to mental health and Substance Use Disorders, from modifying stigmatizing language to changing the way providers interact with their patients. Mr. Godfrey’s approach to bridging the gap of Chronic Pain and Substance Use Disorder diagnoses involves using a patient centered/patient controlled plan to incorporate his own creation of a 14 point Pain/SUD protocol that focuses on “Functional Pain Treatment”, rather than “Pain Management”. Mr. Godfrey received his Nurse Practitioner education from University of Phoenix, and is a member of American Society of Addiction Medicine, as well as the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

About Dr. Jeffrey Glaser, MD

MEET

Dr. Glaser

Jeffrey Glaser, MD, is a double board-certified interventional pain management physician and the founder of Glaser Pain Relief Center, serving the communities of Encino, California, the San Fernando Valley, and the Greater Los Angeles Area.

Dr. Glaser earned his medical degree at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his internship in internal medicine and his residency in anesthesiology at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Glaser is board-certified by the American Board of Pain Medicine and the American Board of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Glaser specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders that cause pain, with a large focus on spine mediated pain (i.e., back pain, neck pain, and sciatica) due to conditions such as herniated/bulging discs, arthritis of the spine, spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis, and failed back surgery syndrome. Some other conditions he treats include (but are not limited to) migraines, peripheral neuropathy, and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS).

The initial diagnosis and workup of the condition causing pain are crucial to developing a comprehensive treatment plan. Dr. Glaser’s treatment plans are usually multi-modal and may include minimally invasive procedures, medication management, physical therapy, and lifestyle modifications. He may incorporate controlled substances such as Percocet and Norco into a short-term treatment plan, but rarely encourages or prescribes long-term, around-the-clock opioids for non-cancer pain.

Dr. Glaser is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Academy of Pain Medicine, American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine, American Medical Association, California Society of Anesthesiologists, California Medical Association, and the Los Angeles County Medical Association. He is on staff at Providence Cedar-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center, Encino Outpatient Surgery Center, and Pacific Ritz Surgery Center.

Throughout his career, Dr. Glaser has been featured in Los Angeles Magazine’s SuperDoctors, Ventura Boulevard Magazine, and Calabasas Style Magazine. He has also received the Vitals.com “Patient’s Choice Award” from 2011-2021 and the “Most Compassionate Doctor Award” from 2015-2021.

Dr. Glaser has successfully diagnosed and treated thousands of patients. He finds it very rewarding to meet a person who is in pain and has limitations in lifestyle due to the issue, then be able to properly diagnose and treat them, resulting in reduced pain and improved quality of life.
