Gary Richman, MD, is a pain medicine physician and board-certified anesthesiologist at Orthopedic Center of Palm Beach County, with locations in Atlantis, Boynton Beach, and Wellington, Florida.

Dr. Richman’s area of expertise is treating pain of the neck, back, joints, and extremities using interventional pain management techniques. About Dr. Amol Soin, MD

He’s highly skilled in a number of intervention techniques, including joint injections, sympathetic nerve blocks, intrathecal (spinal) pain pumps, spinal cord and peripheral nerve stimulation, percutaneous disc decompression, discography, nerve radiofrequency ablations, facet blocks, and epidural injections (both interlaminar and transforaminal approaches).

He also advocates using ultrasound-guidance for interventional pain procedures because of its ability to avoid the radiation exposure inherent in using a traditional C-arm (X-ray) machine.

Dr. Oppong stays active in his field as a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Academy of Pain Medicine. Outside of his medical interests, he’s a dedicated sports fan, especially with soccer and football, and likes to travel with his family and absorb new cultures and cuisines.

Joseph Oppong, Jr., MD, is a board-certified physician who specializes in pain medicine and anesthesiology at Innovative Pain Solutions Centers, with offices in Bowie, Salisbury, and Laurel, Maryland.

Dr. Oppong graduated summa cum laude from the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia, and earned his medical degree from the revered Emory School of Medicine in Atlanta. He completed a residency in anesthesiology at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore before deciding that he wanted to continue his education in pain management.

Under the supervision of J.C. Rowlingson, MD, one of the nation’s foremost authorities on chronic pain management, Dr. Oppong completed a fellowship in interventional pain management at the University of Virginia Health Systems in Charlottesville, Virginia.

After completing his fellowship, Dr. Oppong worked at St. Agnes Healthcare in Baltimore, where he established Community Pain Management, a clinic that follows a multidisciplinary approach to managing chronic pain. He went on to co-found Fairwood Spine and Pain Center, P.A. in Bowie, Maryland, where he spent four years serving as the practice’s president. To better serve his patients in an ever-changing medical field, Dr. Oppong opened Innovative Pain Solutions Centers in 2014.
