Dr. Sciaroni is a San Francisco Bay Area native and began practicing in the San Francisco area after completing a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Lake Tahoe Orthopaedic Institute in Zephyr Cove, Nevada. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Santa Cruz and her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California, Irvine.
Dr. Sciaroni focuses her practice in sports medicine and general orthopaedic surgery, with particular interest in surgery and rehabilitation of the shoulder and knee. She is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. She has served as a team physician for Skyline College and has worked with the St. Francis Center for Sports Medicine. She holds memberships in the San Francisco Medical Society, Western Orthopaedic Association, California Orthopaedic Association, California Medical Association, and The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
To serve patient throughout the Bay Area on various insurance plans, Dr. Sciaroni maintains staff privileges at St Francis Memorial Hospital, California Pacific Medical Center, and Seton Medical Center, and as well as Pacific Heights Surgery Center and Campus Surgery Center. Dr. Sciaroni is committed to helping her patients maintain a fulfilling and active lifestyle. When out of the office, Dr. Sciaroni can usually be found somewhere on Mt. Tam or the Marin Headlands, hiking or riding her road bike or mountain bike.
Board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Michael F. Dillingham, MD, brings over 30 years of experience in sports medicine, orthopedic surgery, and physical rehabilitation to Peninsula Orthopedic Associates in Daly City and Atherton, California, serving patients throughout San Mateo County and the San Francisco Bay area.
Dr. Dillingham began his professional career as a team physician for the San Francisco Forty-Niners of the National Football League. After 25 years and four Super Bowls, Dr. Dillingham joined the San Francisco Giants and served as their team physician through three World Series.
While working as a team physician, Dr. Dillingham also co-founded the Sports Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Medicine Associates (SOAR) in San Jose and San Francisco. There, he pioneered the multidisciplinary musculoskeletal group, both in concept and execution, rendering patient care via a true team concept. Dr. Dillingham has also served as the medical director at Stanford Sports Medicine and held the same position at Santa Clara University Athletics.
Dr. Dillingham treats all types of sports-related issues but primarily focuses on those affecting the knees, shoulders, elbows, and ankles. His background as a team physician in professional, collegiate, and Olympic settings ensures patients receive access to cutting-edge, rehabilitative treatments, and education that can change their lives.
Whenever possible, Dr. Dillingham recommends minimally invasive measures of care. He regularly develops treatment plans for men and women based on their unique lifestyle, health status, and age. Dr. Dillingham offers traditional treatments including physical therapy, as well as state-of-the-art surgical techniques including limb realignment and biologic resurfacing.
When he isn’t spending time with patients, you can find Dr. Dillingham training the next generation of orthopedic specialists. He recently completed 25 years as medical director of the SOAR sports medicine accredited fellowship.
