Dovie McVean obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nutrition of Allied Health at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in May of 1991. Ms. McVean earned her Masters of Science in Food Nutrition and Management at the University of Central Oklahoma in July of 1992 then went on to perform her Physician Assistant Preceptorship at Lutheran College of Health Professionals in Fort Wayne, Indiana between August 1995 and August 1997, where she graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Physician Assistant in August of 1997.
Ms. McVean has performed a variety of skills as a Physician’s Assistant over the last 22 years. She has triaged, diagnosed and treated illnesses and injuries from the neighborhood urgent care all the way to the emergency room. She has managed several clinical staff’s for 2 separate Orthopedic Clinics. She has performed as a first assistant in the operating room since 2001.
Dovie has been working as a Physician’s Assistant to Dr. Robert Myles since 2001. Dr. Burney was born in Madison, Wisconsin. His parents were both in the teaching profession and taught the importance of learning and education.
