Dr. Scott is a native of Boise and completed his undergraduate studies in biology at Boise State University. He then attended medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine. His dermatology training included residency at the University of Washington and, thereafter, a year-long fellowship in Mohs Micrographic & Dermatologic Surgery at Yale University.
Dr. Scott is excited to live in his hometown to serve the entire Treasure Valley and community of southwestern Idaho, specializing in the care of patients with skin cancer. He spends as much time as possible with his family and in the outdoors, especially mountain biking, and feels so fortunate to live and work in his hometown.
Dr. Scott emphasizes outstanding patient care with his empathetic and supportive bedside manner. He is known for his personal follow-up and love for helping others. Jared Tadje, MD, is an experienced orthopaedic surgeon with his own practice, Tadje Orthopaedics, located in Meridian, Idaho. Dr. Tadje received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and attended medical school at the University of Virginia. There, he published articles on sports injuries of the shoulder and knee. He also published an innovative approach to increasing the strength of arthroscopic repair of shoulder and knee injuries. After graduating from the University of Virginia, Dr. Tadje completed orthopaedic residency at the University of Michigan. This gave him a unique opportunity to work closely with Big-10 athletes for the football, basketball, and hockey teams. He also performed several research projects and published original research in the Journal of Knee Surgery. In addition to sports medicine, He had extensive training in trauma and joint replacement at the University of Michigan. Dr. Tadje completed a fellowship in sports medicine and fracture care in Lake Tahoe in 2007. He has an interest in wilderness medicine and international humanitarian work, and he has traveled to Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, and Nepal to participate in surgical missions. Outside of his practice, he enjoys the outdoors, particularly mountain biking and snowboarding, and spending time with his wife and 7 children. His oldest son, Chris, is currently serving a mission in Lima, Peru.
Mikayla Taugher, PA-C is an Idaho native who is committed to serving her fellow community. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Med Biology from Idaho State University and received her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. She is board certified by the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Mikayla spent many years working in orthopedics prior to her PA schooling. She worked in a variety of different settings, including inpatient hospital, outpatient clinics and nursing homes and rehab care. She loves orthopedics because she gets the opportunity to be part of the recovery process of her patients, from start to finish. Her priority lies in ensuring that each patient feels they are receiving personalized and individualized care. She has a passion for learning and is always looking for new opportunities to learn from both her peers and her patients. She assists Dr. Tadje in the operating room and sees her own patients in our clinic. When she is not taking care of our wonderful patients, Mikayla enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, Finn! She loves many of the activities that our patients do, including backpacking, skiing, and really any activity that gets her outdoors to enjoy this beautiful place in which we live!
