Dr. Howard is a member of Kensington church and values his faith in God above all. He and his wife Marie, a physical therapist and native of Troy, Michigan, have two wonderful boys. Dr. Howard enjoys astronomy, grilling, weight lifting, pickleball, and any form of competition.

Blake Fenkell, DO, is a patient-focused orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist who uses the most up-to-date modern resources to provide outstanding care to his Troy, Michigan area patients. At his self-titled practice, Dr. Fenkell and his team treat musculoskeletal pain, including ankle, knee, elbow, wrist, hip, and shoulder pain. He specializes in sports injuries and diseases that affect the joints, including arthritis.
Dr. Fenkell, a native of Metro Detroit, earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He attended medical school at Michigan State University. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency through Beaumont Health System and then finished up an Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship through University of Missouri Health Care, in Columbia, Missouri. During his fellowship training, he served as a doctor for the University of Missouri athletes.
