Dr. Max Lingamfelter is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in adult hip and knee reconstruction (total joint surgery). He attained additional training through a prestigious joint reconstruction fellowship while at the University of Minnesota and is the first fellowship trained total joint surgeon to the Winchester area. This training involves the most up to date and advanced skills in primary joint replacement surgery, such as partial knee replacement (Uni and Patellofemoral replacements), direct anterior hip replacement and robotic assisted total joint reconstruction. Additionally, he provides care for patients with the most complex and challenging total joint problems: post-traumatic arthritis, prior reconstructions, prior deformity, infections, fractures, and aseptic loosening.
During his orthopedic surgical residency, Rowan University – Inspira Health Network, he gained extensive experience working alongside surgeons from the renowned Rothman Orthopaedic Institute. He received his doctorate from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth Texas.
