Dr. Victoria Barber is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and joined Peninsula Orthopedic Associates in Daly City, California, in 1996. Her interest in musculoskeletal injuries and diseases developed naturally through her participation in high school and collegiate athletics. Given her own athletic pursuits, Dr. Barber has an empathetic understanding of the impact musculoskeletal trauma and degenerative diseases have on her patients’ lives.
Dr. Barber is a 1986 graduate of Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, and a 1990 graduate of Yale University School of Medicine. Prior to heading west, Dr. Barber completed her surgical internship at George Washington University in Washington. Between 1992 and 1996, she completed her residency training at the San Francisco Orthopaedic Residency Program. In addition to the four-year residency program, Dr. Barber completed a year-long research fellowship at St. Mary’s Hospital in San Francisco.

Board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Michael F. Dillingham, MD, brings over 30 years of experience in sports medicine, orthopedic surgery, and physical rehabilitation to Peninsula Orthopedic Associates in Daly City and Atherton, California, serving patients throughout San Mateo County and the San Francisco Bay area.
Dr. Dillingham began his professional career as a team physician for the San Francisco Forty-Niners of the National Football League. After 25 years and four Super Bowls, Dr. Dillingham joined the San Francisco Giants and served as their team physician through three World Series.

Dr. Gregory received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and continued at the University of Nebraska School of Medicine in Omaha, where he received his medical degreeHe then completed his internship and residency at the University of Oklahoma’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation l in Oklahoma City. He continued his education, receiving his Doctor of Orthopaedic Medicine at Michigan State University in East Lansing, followed by an orthopedic surgery residency from the same institution where he earned resident of the year.
The Orthopedic Trauma Surgeons of Northern California recognized Dr. Tonnos’ talents and brought him to the team as a fellow. Dr. Tonnos returned to Michigan, to obtain valuable experience, working as an orthopedic surgeon for seven years, providing exceptional care to patients at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital and DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital, both in Detroit, Michigan.
Dr. Tonnos then returned to the Orthopedic Trauma Surgeons of Northern California team and their exceptional medical practice and has been working as an orthopedic trauma surgeon at the Carmichael, California, office.
Several publications highlight Dr. Tonnos’ impact, such as the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma, International Orthopaedics, and The American Journal of Surgery. He continues his lifelong orthopedic journey by maintaining professional affiliations through the American Osteopathic Association and the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, among several others.
