Dr. Kassab, a native of Detroit, immigrated to the United States as a child and developed a strong work ethic early in life. He completed his undergraduate degree at Wayne State University and went on to attend Wayne State University School of Medicine, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class and received his Doctor of Medicine with distinction. He completed his orthopedic surgery training at the Detroit Medical Center, where he was elected Chief Orthopedic Resident in his final year.
To further enhance his expertise, Dr. Kassab completed a one-year fellowship in hip and knee joint replacements with two pioneering surgeons at the University of California, San Diego. This specialized training makes Dr. Kassab one of the few orthopedic surgeons in the Detroit metropolitan area who is highly skilled and specifically trained in hip and knee replacement and reconstruction surgery.
Dr. Kassab has always been at the forefront of advancements in knee replacements. Notably, he is the first surgeon in Michigan to perform knee replacements using augmented reality, showcasing his commitment to utilizing cutting-edge technology to improve patient outcomes.

Robert Howard, DO, is an orthopedic surgeon practicing at Orthopedic Specialists of Oakland County, which has locations in Bloomfield Hills and Clarkston, Michigan. Dr. Howard is a native of Oakland County and is proud to serve the community he was raised in.
Dr. Howard is both a graduate of Lake Orion High School and Oakland University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in biology. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his orthopedic surgery training at Mclaren Oakland hospital. Dr. Howard then completed a foot and ankle fellowship in Las Vegas, Nevada, under the direction of Dr. Michael Monroe, MD. The fellowship emphasized diagnosing and treating problems of the foot and ankle. He gained extensive experience in treating complex foot and ankle disorders.

Dr. Howard is a member of Kensington church and values his faith in God above all. He and his wife Marie, a physical therapist and native of Troy, Michigan, have two wonderful boys. Dr. Howard enjoys astronomy, grilling, weight lifting, pickleball, and any form of competition.
