STEPAN KASIMIAN, M.D.

Navid Ghalambor, MD, is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in shoulder, elbow and wrist surgeries, with special emphasis on the treatment of shoulder and elbow conditions.

He subsequently completed his orthopaedic surgery residency training at the University of Southern California – Los Angeles County Medical Center. Dr. Ghalambor underwent fellowship training in shoulder arthroscopy and reconstruction at the renowned Harvard Shoulder Program at the Massachusetts General Hospital and the Brigham and Woman’s Hospital in Boston. He also underwent an adult arthritis and reconstruction fellowship at the UCLA/Orthopaedic Hospital in Los Angeles.

​Dr. Navid Ghalambor was awarded the graduate research fellowship during his medical school training at USC. During his orthopaedic surgery training at USC, he was chosen by the faculty to be a chief resident of the program, which was one of the largest orthopaedic residencies in the country. Dr. Ghalambor has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of orthopaedic surgery at USC for 12 years and during this time he has been involved in the training of orthopaedic surgery residents at the USC Sports Service. He has also served as an instructor of orthopaedic surgery at the Harvard Orthopaedic Surgery Program.

​Dr. Ghalambor has published numerous articles in peer reviewed orthopaedic surgery journals including articles on shoulder arthroplasty, instability and stiffness. He has given numerous local and national presentations including those at the annual meetings of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
His research has been presented at international orthopaedic surgery meetings. Dr. Ghalambor is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, California Orthopaedic Association, Codman Shoulder Society, and Southern California Society for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Samuel W. Park is a board-certified orthpaedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee arthroplasty. Dr. Park is a Harvard Fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon, and the first surgeon on the West Coast to utilize robotic technology for knee arthroplasties. The combination of Dr. Park's extensive surgical experience and innovative robotic resources ensures a higher recovery rate while minimizing post-operative infection reports. Dr. Park also serves as the Medical Director of the Joint Replacement Department at Providence Mission Hospital. Dr. Eidt is a specialist and expert in caring for patients with sports injuries including complex shoulder, elbow, knee and ankle problems. His expertise is in the arthroscopic management of sports injuries. Dr. Eidt is double board certified in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine as well as General Orthopaedic Surgery. He attended the military medical school, Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, MD, where he was elected to the national medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA).  His undergraduate degree in economics with a chemistry minor, was completed at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. As a result of 16 years of service in the U.S. Army Dr. Eidt has an extensive practice caring for both pediatric and adult patients with complex traumatic injuries.

Dr. Eidt was deployed several times through his Army career. Notably he spent a year on the 38^th parallel at the DMZ in South Korea. He was deployed in combat and assigned to the 173^rd Airborne Division at a forward operating base with the 2^nd FST (a forward surgical team) in Afghanistan, as well as assignments to hospitals in Kandahar and Bagram.  Because of his excellent care of both military and civilian casualties under combat conditions in Afghanistan, Dr. Eidt was awarded the Bronze Star. 

 Dr. Eidt is the orthopaedic consultant and team physician for St. Margaret's Episcopal School's lacrosse and football teams. He has supported Trabuco Hills High School and JSerra Catholic School as their team physician. He was a faculty member for the U.S Army’s primary care sports medicine fellowship. He has also been team physician for the U.S. Army 2nd Infantry Division wrestling tournaments as well as many other local and regional sports competitions.  Dr. Eidt came with his family to Southern California and began his practice in Mission Viejo after a 16 year Army career. 

Kunal Kalra, MD, of the Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Institute, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon whose areas of expertise include sports medicine and shoulder surgery. Dr. Kalra treats shoulder, hip, ankle, knee, and elbow injuries and disorders, seeing patients at the in Victorville, Pomona, Banning, Loma Linda and Chino, California, offices.

Dr. Kalra attended the University of Mumbai's Grant Government Medical College and Sir JJ (Jamsetjee Jeejebhoy) Group of Hospitals in Mumbai, India, where he earned his medical degree. He stayed in Mumbai to complete his orthopaedic surgery residency at TN Medical College and BYL Nair Hospital, then moved to the United States.

He studied for his orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship at New York City’s Lenox Hill Hospital and NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital in Manhattan's Upper East Side and then traveled to the West Coast to attend the University of California in San Francisco (UCSF) for fellowship training in adult joint reconstruction. Dr. Kalra also received specialist training in pediatric orthopaedics at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, and is an AFTS Fellow (Paris) in shoulder surgery.

Dr. Kalra speaks fluent Hindi, English, and Marathi, so he can cater to patients from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. For most patients, he considers comprehensive non-surgical management first, offering advanced evidence-based treatments where necessary.
