Scott Levin, MD, FAAOS, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty fellowship training in sports medicine at Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group. He is proud to provide care to patients at the practice’s locations in Mount Kisco, Fishkill, Newburgh, and Carmel, New York, and Danbury, Connecticut.
Dr. Levin graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in biology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at Temple University and completed an orthopaedic surgery residency at Stony Brook University in New York, where he was selected as the Administrative Chief Resident during his final year. He went on to complete his sports medicine fellowship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, where he developed expertise in evaluating sports-related injuries and the skills to treat them with a minimally invasive technique.
During his time at Lenox Hill, he also had the opportunity to work with many professional and collegiate athletes, serving as an assistant team physician for the New York Jets and the New York Islanders, in addition to Hofstra University and Hunter College. Dr. Levin continues to serve as the team physician for local high school teams, including Horace Greeley High School and Somers High School, and is the assistant team physician for Pace University. He is the co-author of several research articles, including book chapters on various orthopaedic procedures.
Dr. Levin cares for both high-level competitive athletes and weekend warriors and takes a team approach with his patients to get them back in the game. He has extensive experience in both non-operative and operative treatment of injuries of the shoulder, elbow, hip, and knee with a focus on minimally invasive arthroscopic treatment. He is one of only a few providers in Westchester County and the Hudson Valley with a specialized clinical interest in arthroscopic treatment of the hip, using advanced arthroscopic techniques to treat various hip disorders, such as labral tears and femoroacetabular impingement. In addition, he performs office-based ultrasound-guided injections, including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell therapy.

Board-certified orthopaedic surgeon, Stuart Styles, MD, FAAOS, has been with the team at Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group since 1997. He currently treats patients at the practice locations in Fishkill, Mount Kisco, Newburgh, and Carmel, New York.
Dr. Styles is a graduate of Hofstra University and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where he earned his medical degree in 1991. He served as chief resident of orthopaedic surgery at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he was also an orthopaedic research fellow.
He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, the Medical Society of the State of New York, and Westchester County Medical Society. Until recently, Dr. Styles was a committee member of the Putnam Hospital Health Information Management Committee, was the Co-Director of Joint Replacement Surgery at Northern Westchester Hospital, and sat on the Board of Trustees at Trinity-Pawling School. Andrew Peretz, MD, FAAOS, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in spinal surgery. Dr. Peretz joined Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group, PLLC, in 1997, and he treats spinal disorders in both adults and pediatric patients at the practice’s locations in Mount Kisco, Fishkill, Newburgh, and Carmel, New York.
Dr. Peretz received his degree in chemistry from Princeton University and earned his medical degree from the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City. Dr. Peretz then completed his fellowship in spinal surgery at the Institute for Spinal Disorders at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
He is currently a member of the North American Spine Society, the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Peretz is a member of the Medical Society of New York State, the Medical Society of Westchester County, and the American Medical Association. Daniel Howard, MD, FAAOS, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with subspecialty fellowship training in sports medicine. He provides individualized, compassionate care to patients at Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group in Mount Kisco, Fishkill, and Carmel, New York, and Danbury, Connecticut.
Dr. Howard graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the cross country and track and field teams. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis before completing his orthopaedic surgery residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York City, where he served as the Administrative Chief Resident during his final year. He then went on to the prestigious Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles to complete his sports medicine fellowship, where he was part of the medical staff of the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks, Los Angeles Galaxy, Los Angeles Sparks, and many junior colleges and high schools.
He has written numerous peer-reviewed publications and performed research involving NFL, MLB, MLS, and NWSL athletes. His research interests and projects include injury prevention in youth and adolescent pitchers and athletes, safe return to sport after injury, improving and measuring patient outcomes, and improving surgical techniques.

Dr. Howard treats a wide variety of orthopaedic and sports-related issues of the knee, shoulder, elbow, and hip. He has particular clinical interests in knee injuries of the ligaments, meniscus, and cartilage; shoulder injuries of the rotator cuff, labrum, and instability; working with overhead and throwing athletes; and working with runners.
Dr. Howard offers his patients specialized treatment with minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery and robotic-assisted knee replacement surgery, as well as state-of-the-art technology including platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and stem cell treatment. Victor Khabie, MD, FAAOS, FACS, is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon at Somers Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Group. He is Co-Chairman of Orthopedic Surgery at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, New York.

Dr. Khabie received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, followed by an internship in general surgery at the New York University (NYU) School of Medicine. After his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City, he went on to complete his fellowship in sports medicine surgery at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles, a world-renowned center in diagnosing and treating orthopaedic and sports medicine injuries.
During his fellowship, Dr. Khabie cared for the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Mighty Ducks, Los Angeles Sparks, and the University of Southern California football and basketball teams.
Dr. Khabie is a leading expert in the field of orthopaedic sports medicine surgery and possesses a particular interest in shoulder and knee arthroscopic surgery, as well as robotic- assisted knee replacement surgery. He is the creator of a unique, patented knee brace with a multidimensional neoprene support called the “Victory Knee Brace,” which was first introduced at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting in San Francisco in 2004.
