Dr. Barsegian is a board-certified ophthalmologist who is passionate about providing personalized, detail-oriented care for general ophthalmology and glaucoma patients. Interested in medicine from a young age, Dr. Barsegian was accepted into the prestigious Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, an accelerated 7 year BS/MD program in New York City that selects the top students in NYC who exhibit academic excellence. She received her medical degree from State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center. During medical school, she was inducted into the selective Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honors Society and was awarded the prestigious Mack Lipkin Broader Horizons Fellowship, a research fellowship and grant that allowed her to pursue cardiac stem cell research in the world-renowned Hôpital Saint Louis in Paris, France. After graduating as one of the youngest doctors in the country, she stayed at SUNY Downstate Medical Center for her ophthalmology residency training. She then went on to complete two subspecialty fellowships at UCLA: cornea & external disease fellowship at the esteemed Doheny Eye Institute-UCLA and glaucoma fellowship at the world-famous Stein Eye Institute-UCLA. She has co-authored 4 book chapters, has numerous publications in peer-reviewed academic journals, and has presented at over 20 medical society meetings and conferences.
She is currently an active member of the American Glaucoma Society, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Orange County Society of Ophthalmology, and the Armenian American Medical Society. She speaks fluent Armenian, Russian, and Spanish as foreign languages. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exercising, and hiking with her husband.
Dr. Hawaa Ali, OD, is a highly skilled and experienced optometrist at the OC Optometry Group in Newport Beach, California. Dr. Kara McEachern, OD, has been practicing family and pediatric Optometry since 2008. She received her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University in North Carolina. Dr. McEachern then returned to California to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
Dr. McEachern’s clinical training included a series of specialized internships: pediatrics, binocular vision, contact lens and low vision at the Meredith Morgan Eye Center in Berkeley; ocular disease and primary care at the Alameda County Medical Center in Oakland; surgery and ocular disease at the VA Medical Center Livermore; and primary care and contact lens at Cal State LA and Cal State Northridge Student Health Centers.

Dr. Benosa received her doctorate in optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California in 2013. During optometry school, she served as secretary of her class for three years and Vice President of the honors fraternity Beta Sigma Kappa and graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. Dr. Benosa completed externships at Hoopes Vision in Utah, Veteran's Affairs Sierra Vista Community Based Outpatient Clinic, and the Naval Medical Center in San Diego.
After optometry school, Dr. Benosa furthered her education with a one year residency in Ocular Disease at the Braverman Eye Center in Florida. There she gained extensive experience in comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, managing ocular disease, and participating in refractive surgery co-management.
Since residency, Dr. Benosa has returned to her hometown of Valencia. Dr. Benosa strives to use her experience, knowledge, and commitment to lifelong learning to deliver comprehensive eyecare for all patients. She focuses on preventative care like detecting disease in early stages and is glaucoma certified. Dr. Benosa enjoys working with children to identify vision problems early and offer intervention for amblyopia, strabismus, binocular vision conditions, and myopia management. Dr. Benosa also has an interest in fitting specialty contact lenses for patients with keratoconus as well as post-surgical or irregular corneas and has over 10 years experience of fitting soft, gas permeable and scleral lenses. Carl Garbus, OD, is a seasoned neuro-optometric rehabilitation specialist who provides vision therapies and rehabilitative services to adults and children in Valencia, California. As part of the team at Family Vision Care Optometry, a part of the DeyeNAMICS Alliance, Dr. Garbus is dedicated to offering preventive care and the highest-quality treatments available.
Dr. Garbus graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1980. He opened two private practices in Valencia, Family Vision Care Optometry and Family Vision Care Optometry Neuro Vision Rehabilitation. Currently, the practices emphasize care for children and adults with vision deficits from traumatic brain injury, stroke, and developmental and learning problems.
Dr. Garbus has hospital privileges and consults at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, and Henry Mayo Hospital in Santa Clarita. In addition, he works with the following rehabilitation centers: Centre For Neuro Skills, Solutions At Santa Barbara, and the Brain Injury Specialists. He has made various presentations and in-services to optometric societies, occupational therapy groups, and PTA groups regarding vision problems.

Dr. Garbus was president of the Los Angeles County Optometric Society in 1993 and as vice president on the board for the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA). He also served as president of the organization in 2010.
