Mary Demirjian, OD, is a dedicated and compassionate optometrist at Wide Eye Optometry. Families in the Encino neighborhood in Los Angeles, Santa Clarita or Palmdale, California, have a valuable resource in Dr. Demijiran for their vision needs. 

Dr. Demirjian was born and raised in San Fernando Valley. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from California State University, Northridge in the Northridge neighborhood of Los Angelos, California.

After graduation, she pursued her optometry education at Marshall B. Ketchum University's Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California, where she received her doctorate of optometry (OD). 

Her experiences include providing vision care in the optometry department at VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, as well as the Optometric Center of Los Angeles. 

Dr. Demirjian takes great pride in working with the most experienced surgeons and state-of-the-art technology. To stay current with the latest insights into optometry, she is an active member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association, and the San Fernando Valley Optometric Society.

Dr. Brandon Chuang grew up in Irvine, CA before attending University of California San Diego. He graduated with a BS in Biology in 2013. He then earned his Doctorate of Optometry from New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA in 2018.

After graduation, he pursued a residency in ocular disease and primary care at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital of Brockton, Massachusetts. At his residency, he worked closely with world renowned ophthalmologists, comanaging glaucoma, dry eye, uveitis, cataracts, and retinal diseases like macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. After finishing residency, Dr. Chuang returned to his alma mater as a professor, where he worked as faculty training future optometrists for 2 years before returning to Orange County.

Dr. Chuang has been described as a compassionate eyecare provider who is committed to high quality patient care. His specialty is glaucoma, but he considers himself a jack of all trades given his various clinical experiences. He also enjoys treating dry eye, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and fitting contact lenses. Lindy H. Hoang, O.D. is a Board Certified optometrist. She obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree from The New England College of Optometry (NECO) and has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of California, Riverside. She has completed several externships throughout the greater area of Boston, Massachusetts, including the Joslin Diabetes Center, Veterans Affairs Brockton, and various community health centers and private practices. Dr. Hoang strives to provide quality, comprehensive eye care and contact lens services for all her patients.

Siuchi Suen, O.D. is a therapeutic and glaucoma certified optometrist who provides comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages. Her experience includes diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions, including refractive errors (nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism), amblyopia, dry eye, red eyes, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Suen is a proud alumna from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology and a minor in East Asian Studies. Dr. Kara McEachern, OD, has been practicing family and pediatric Optometry since 2008.  She received her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University in North Carolina.  Dr. McEachern then returned to California to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California at Berkeley.  

Dr. McEachern’s clinical training included a series of specialized internships: pediatrics, binocular vision, contact lens and low vision at the Meredith Morgan Eye Center in Berkeley; ocular disease and primary care at the Alameda County Medical Center in Oakland; surgery and ocular disease at the VA Medical Center Livermore; and primary care and contact lens at Cal State LA and Cal State Northridge Student Health Centers.  

Dr. McEachern was born and raised in San Diego, CA. Dr. Susan Ghodsi, O.D. has been practicing Optometry for over 25years. With her extensive clinical knowledge, Dr. Ghodsi excels in patient care, namely complex contact lens evaluations. She is experienced in diagnosing and treating ocular disease, LASIK co-management and comprehensive eye exams.

Dr. Ghodsi received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from University of California, Irvine and her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1996.

Dr. Hawaa Ali, OD, is a highly skilled and experienced optometrist at the OC Optometry Group in Newport Beach, California. Judd M. Cahoon, MD, PhD joins Astorino and Associates Eye Center from UCLA where he trained as an ophthalmology resident at the prestigious Stein Eye Institute. He is excited to build his practice in Newport Beach and brings new techniques to the clinic, such as minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and extensive experience treating medical retinal disease.

Prior to training at UCLA, Dr. Cahoon obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Utah on a Presidential Scholarship, honoring in Exercise and Sports Science and minoring in Chinese. 

Dr. Cahoon completed the combined MD/PhD program at the University of Utah School of Medicine. He earned his PhD in Neuroscience studying the underlying mechanisms of and developing a novel treatment for diabetic eye disease. Dr. Cahoon has published multiple scientific papers and presented at both national and international meetings for which he has received numerous awards, including the Outstanding Young Investigator Award and the MIT Outstanding Poster Award. In addition to his basic science work on diabetic retinopathy, he has also published a series of papers on the dynamics of the machines used for cataract surgery.

During his time as a resident at UCLA, Dr. Cahoon was awarded the Medical Student Teaching Award and the Beast Bowler Award. He is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin and is proficient in Spanish. Dr. Cahoon played rugby in high school and college and now enjoys playing the guitar for his wife and four children.

Arthur Astorino, Jr., MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been practicing since 1988. He provides exceptional eye care to his patients at Astorino & Associates Eye Center in Newport Beach, California, in areas like general ophthalmology, advanced cataract care, and refractive surgery.

Dr. Astorino earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and completed his ophthalmology residency at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He’s currently an associate clinical professor of ophthalmology at UCLA. Dr. Astorino is also a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and a fellow of the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Ho graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton. She stays up to date with all of the latest trends and developments in eye care through her professional memberships in the California Optometry Association and the Asian American Optometry Association.

Dr. Ho has deep clinical experience in diagnosing and treating eye disease and fitting specialty contact lenses for multifocal needs and astigmatism; she also helps to perform cataract surgeries and LASIK. Dr. Ho is fluent in English, Vietnamese, and Spanish.
