He opened his practice in 2017 located in Montrose, considered the "Heart of Houston", which is notable for its hipster culture, art/food scene, and LGBTQ+ presence. His mission is to provide the highest level of eye care with the latest technology while also making sure his patients are leaving in style with any of the diverse independent eyewear collections represented in his optical.

Dr. Lovero was born and raised in Sugar Land, Texas, and studied at the University of Houston, where he was inducted into Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and received numerous clinical letters of excellence in the category of contact lenses and family practice. He earned both his undergraduate and doctorate of optometry degrees and graduated magna cum laude. Today, he is an active member in the American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and Harris County Optometric Association.
He’s a licensed therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. Dr. Lovero also served as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Family Practice and Contact Lens Clinic at the University of Houston, College of Optometry for 2 years.

Nancy Lo, OD, is an expert optometrist at Montrose Eye Care in Houston, Texas. She grew up in Katy, Texas, and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston where she was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa, the Optometric Honor Society, and graduated magna cum laude.
During her specialty clinical rotations at the San Diego Naval Hospital and Cedar Springs Clinic in Dallas, she was able to provide contact lens fittings and diagnose and treat many anterior and posterior segment ocular diseases for our special armed forces and Dallas’ indigent population, respectively. Dr. Lo has also participated in See to Succeed for the past 6 years, providing full comprehensive exams and corrective eyewear to school children in Houston area schools along with the help of her fellow colleagues.
Dr. Lo is board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease and state board certified as a glaucoma specialist. She is also a member of the American Optometric Associate and Texas Optometric Association.
Dr. Lo currently lives in Houston and spends her free time hanging out with her rescue senior dog Leo, doing yoga, and taking care of her many (hundred) houseplants.
