Dr. Eugene Orloff graduated from SUNY College of Optometry in 1999. He then completed his residency training at Northport VA Hospital with an emphasis on ocular disease and binocular vision dysfunction. Dr. Orloff started working as an Attending Optometrist at the Laser and Microsurgery Institute in 2000, where he diagnosed and treated ocular disease and glaucoma patients as well as co-managed pre- and post-LASIK, cataract and glaucoma surgery patients. In 2003, he founded Bronx Eye Associates in order to provide primary care optometry to a wide range of patients. A dedicated researcher, Dr. Orloff was the recipient of a prestigious National Institutes of Health Grant during his time at SUNY College of Optometry. In addition, he was awarded a Humanity Development Scholarship at SUNY College of Optometry, was named to the Dean’s List at Pace University and earned his diploma with honors at Moscow Medical College.
With his diverse education and hands-on training in ophthalmology and optometry, Dmitri Bondarenko, OD, helps patients manage chronic eye conditions, while ultimately improving their vision. Dr. Bondarenko treats patients at the VistaSite Eye Care locations in Brooklyn and Valley Stream, New York.
After earning his medical degree from First Pavlov State Medical University of St. Petersburg in Russia, Dr. Bondarenko completed his residency in ophthalmology at the same institution. He then relocated to the United States and finished his doctor of optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry.
An extensive medical background enables Dr. Bondarenko to expertly diagnose and treat complex eye conditions that can impair a patient’s quality of life. He has special interests in glaucoma, flashers and floaters, color vision deficiency, and retinitis. Dr. Bondarenko even has comprehensive training in correcting nearsightedness (myopia), as well as farsightedness (hypermetropia).

As a Bronx native, Dr. Saa stayed in her hometown for much of her education and training. She completed her undergraduate studies in science from Pace University in New York City. Dr. Saa then conducted research projects in optometry with State University of New York College of Optometry. After focusing on vision screening research, Dr. Saa ultimately graduated with her doctor of optometry degree from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico.
Throughout her internship training, Dr. Saa was able to care for patients of all ages, from children to geriatric adults. She went through comprehensive hands-on training with vision therapy exercises, syntonics (light frequencies), and atypical tailored treatment for the most complex of eye conditions and surgeries.

Dr. Palavets has a passion for eye care and a deep interest in research and vision therapy training.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in biology from Hunter College - CUNY in New York City, Dr. Palavets went on to earn a dual degree in Doctor of Optometry and Master of Science in Vision Science from SUNY College of Optometry, also in New York City.
As part of her master’s program research project Dr. Palavets studied the effects of different filters to prevent digital eye strain. Her research was published in a reputable optometry journal, and Dr. Palavets presented her material at the American Academy of Optometry’s meeting in Chicago, Illinois.
At VistaSite, Dr. Palavets specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases like macular degeneration, glaucoma, and cataracts. In addition to providing high-quality care for a wide range of eye diseases, Dr. Palavets takes a special interest in contact lenses, including specialty lenses to treat myopia, dry eyes, and other conditions.

Merin Abraham, OD, provides state-of-the-art ophthalmology services with an emphasis on patient-centered care at Marano Eye Care. She sees patients and treats various ocular conditions at each of the practice's three convenient locations in Denville, Livingston, and Newark, New Jersey.
Dr. Abraham received her Doctor of Optometry degree with magna cum laude honors from the Southern California College of Optometry in 2018. She then went on to complete a residency in primary care and ocular disease at the Eye Care Center of New Jersey.

James Kelly, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Eye Care & Surgery in New York City, which has two locations in Washington Heights, Manhattan, and another near the Grand Concourse in the Bronx, right across the street from Yankee Stadium. Dr. Kelly specializes in treating numerous eye disorders, including dry eyes, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Dr. Kelly attended Stuyvesant High School in Lower Manhattan and earned his undergraduate and medical school degrees at Georgetown University in Washington DC. He completed a surgical internship at New York’s Maimonides Medical Center in Borough Park, Brooklyn. There, he rotated through numerous specialties, including trauma surgery, general surgery, cardiothoracic intensive care, pediatrics, emergency medicine, and internal medicine.
Dr. Kelly finished his medical training with a residency in ophthalmology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Glen Oaks, Queens, where he served as chief resident.
