Alyson Yashar, MD graduated from Brown University and NYU School of Medicine, where she was president of her class. She completed an internship in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital. She performed her eye surgery training at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Dr. Yashar completed a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology, also at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, and simultaneously received additional training in oculoplastics. She is presently an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at NYU School of Medicine and teaches at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.

Dr. Eugene Orloff graduated from SUNY College of Optometry in 1999. He then completed his residency training at Northport VA Hospital with an emphasis on ocular disease and binocular vision dysfunction. Dr. Orloff started working as an Attending Optometrist at the Laser and Microsurgery Institute in 2000, where he diagnosed and treated ocular disease and glaucoma patients as well as co-managed pre- and post-LASIK, cataract and glaucoma surgery patients. In 2003, he founded Bronx Eye Associates in order to provide primary care optometry to a wide range of patients. A dedicated researcher, Dr. Orloff was the recipient of a prestigious National Institutes of Health Grant during his time at SUNY College of Optometry. In addition, he was awarded a Humanity Development Scholarship at SUNY College of Optometry, was named to the Dean’s List at Pace University and earned his diploma with honors at Moscow Medical College.
