Narbae Avedian, O.D. of VeyeP is a native Californian who cares deeply about the eye health of Los Angeles’ Studio City community. Dr. Avedian has been interested in the medical field since college at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology with honors in 2007.

Aira Canlas, OD is dedicated to providing comprehensive, cutting-edge eye care to a diverse, urban population in Los Feliz, California at Sunset Optometric Center. After growing up in rural North Dakota, Dr. Hintz received a Bachelor of Science in Zoology and a minor in chemistry from North Dakota State University in Fargo. She earned her doctorate from the Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon, before pursuing a residency specializing in ocular and refractive surgery at Chu Vision Institute in Bloomington, Minnesota.

Wayne Mutter, OD, is an optometrist on the team at Rocky Mountain Eye Center, seeing patients at the Missoula, Montana, office. Dr. Mutter provides comprehensive primary eye care, along with management of ocular disease, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, and diabetes.
Dr. Mutter was born and raised in the small, beautiful Appalachian town of Grundy, Virginia. He received his undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech, where he graduated as a member of the football team. Dr. Mutter is a graduate of the Kentucky College of Optometry in Pikeville, Kentucky. While in school, Dr. Mutter participated in research and presented a poster on intraocular pressure in specialized conditions at an international research conference.
He was lucky enough to complete a rotation providing eye care on the Fort Belknap Reservation in north-central Montana, along with rotations in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Glenwood Springs, Colorado, studying ocular disease, surgery co-management, and primary care optometry.
In his free time, Dr. Mutter enjoys golfing, hiking, fishing, and cooking.
Brian Chado, OD, provides an array of services to treat conditions like dry eyes, cataracts, glaucoma, and general eye diseases at the Maryland Vision Center location in Frederick, Maryland.
Dr. Chado received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland in College Park before earning his Doctor of Optometry at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. He completed clinical rotations at Oklahoma Medical Eye Group in Tulsa, the Eye Care Center in Richmond, and the Eye Center in Memphis. Dr. Chado completed his residency in ocular disease at Baltimore VA Medical Center in Maryland.

He was raised in Casper, Wyoming and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Family and Consumer Sciences- Human Nutrition and Food from the University of Wyoming. He graduated Cum Laude from Southern California College of Optometry, after serving as class president for three years and filling various teaching assistant laboratory roles.
After optometry school Dr. Morton completed a residency in Chinle, Arizona on the Navajo Nation. This underserved community is four hours or more from ophthalmology care, and allowed him additional experience with ocular trauma, ocular emergencies, and chronic disease management including volumes of glaucoma and diabetes. After residency he followed his love of skiing and worked for two years in a medical ophthalmology clinic in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
Dr. Morton works with all ages, and manages all chronic conditions including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, uveitis, dry eye, and everything in-between.
He comes to Missoula with his pup Sally Ride where he will continue to ski, run, hike, and of course play hockey.
