Dr. Scheinhorn received her Doctor of Medicine from Tulane University in New Orleans, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She was also cited by the American Medical Women’s Association for scholastic achievement. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at Louisiana State University Eye Center in New Orleans.

Dr. Scheinhorn has served the community of Glendale and La Canada, California for over 30 years. She was voted Best Ophthalmologist, Glendale in 2017 and 2018. She has also been honored for her dedication and support of Glendale Healthy Kids.

Dr. Brandon Chuang grew up in Irvine, CA before attending University of California San Diego. He graduated with a BS in Biology in 2013. He then earned his Doctorate of Optometry from New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA in 2018.

After graduation, he pursued a residency in ocular disease and primary care at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital of Brockton, Massachusetts. At his residency, he worked closely with world renowned ophthalmologists, comanaging glaucoma, dry eye, uveitis, cataracts, and retinal diseases like macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. After finishing residency, Dr. Chuang returned to his alma mater as a professor, where he worked as faculty training future optometrists for 2 years before returning to Orange County.

His specialty is glaucoma, but he considers himself a jack of all trades given his various clinical experiences. Dr. Darren Knight is a proud South Bay native. He graduated with honors from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences and went on to complete medical school at the prestigious Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. After an internal medicine internship at Mount Sinai in New York City, he returned to Southern California to complete his ophthalmology residency at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Knight later pursued a vigorous two-year fellowship focused on medical and surgical vitreoretinal disease at the University of California, San Diego. 

Dr. Knight is passionate about caring for his patients and equipping them with the knowledge they need to understand their diagnosis and achieve their best vision. Paul Lang, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in cornea, external diseases, and refractive surgery. Dr. Lang attended Cornell University, where he graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He then returned to California to attend the Keck School of Medicine of USC, graduating with distinction in research. He stayed to complete his ophthalmology residency training at the USC Roski Eye Institute and LA General Medical Center. Dr. Lang then completed a fellowship in cornea, external diseases, and refractive surgery at the world renowned Shiley Eye Institute at UC San Diego. In addition to treating cataracts and providing laser vision correction, Dr. Lang offers comprehensive eye care for conditions such as diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, and dry eye disease.

Todd Driver, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in cornea, cataract and LASIK. Originally hailing from Denver, he attended the University of Colorado Boulder. He received his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco where he graduated at the top of his class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at the world-renowned UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute and obtained further training at the prestigious University of California, San Francisco F.I. Proctor Foundation in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery. Dr. Driver treats a wide variety of eye diseases, but has expertise in cataract and refractive surgery. Dr. Kline graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and obtained his medical degree cum laude from Yale University School of Medicine. He received his training in ophthalmology at the Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Kline’s field of expertise includes cataract surgery using the newest techniques and lens implants, including advanced-technology intraocular lenses for the correction of near and distance vision and astigmatism. Dr. Andrew Lee graduated cum laude and with Phi Beta Kappa honors from UCLA. He then went on to complete his medical degree at the NYU School of Medicine. After his internship in internal medicine at UC Irvine School of Medicine, he went on to complete his residency in ophthalmology at the Northwell Health Eye Institute in New York where he served as chief resident in his final year. Dr. Lee then went on to receive additional training at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA where he completed a fellowship in Cornea, External Diseases, and Refractive Surgery.  

Shivani Gupta, MD, MPH, is an oculoplastic surgeon with over 10 years of experience in the field. She has a private practice in Beverly Hills, California.

As an oculoplastic surgeon, Dr. Gupta focuses on refreshing the face, performing blepharoplasty for the upper and lower eyelids, brow lifts, and treating ptosis (droopy eyelids). She also offers non-surgical treatments such as Botox® and fillers.

Dr. Gupta also has a Master of Public Health (MPH) in epidemiology and is board-certified in ophthalmology. She’s also been inducted into the ASOPRS society and published numerous articles and book chapters related to oculoplastics.

Dr. Barsegian is a board-certified ophthalmologist who is passionate about providing personalized, detail-oriented care for general ophthalmology and glaucoma patients. She is excited to work alongside her outstanding colleagues at Astorino & Associates Eye Center. In addition to providing comprehensive medical and surgical ophthalmological care including pterygium removal and cataract surgery, she specializes in the complete medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), trabeculectomy, and glaucoma tube implant surgery.

Interested in medicine from a young age, Dr. Barsegian was accepted into the prestigious Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education, an accelerated 7 year BS/MD program in New York City that selects the top students in NYC who exhibit academic excellence. She received her medical degree from State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center. During medical school, she was inducted into the selective Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honors Society and was awarded the prestigious Mack Lipkin Broader Horizons Fellowship, a research fellowship and grant that allowed her to pursue cardiac stem cell research in the world-renowned Hôpital Saint Louis in Paris, France. After graduating as one of the youngest doctors in the country, she stayed at SUNY Downstate Medical Center for her ophthalmology residency training. She then went on to complete two subspecialty fellowships at UCLA: cornea & external disease fellowship at the esteemed Doheny Eye Institute-UCLA and glaucoma fellowship at the world-famous Stein Eye Institute-UCLA. She has co-authored 4 book chapters, has numerous publications in peer-reviewed academic journals, and has presented at over 20 medical society meetings and conferences.

She is currently an active member of the American Glaucoma Society, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Orange County Society of Ophthalmology, and the Armenian American Medical Society. She speaks fluent Armenian, Russian, and Spanish as foreign languages.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling, exercising, and hiking with her husband.
