Dr. George Tung is a board certified Ophthalmologist with more than30 years of experience. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from City College of New York and received his MD degree from Cornell University in 1983. He then completed his first residency in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in 1986 and his second residency in Ophthalmology at North Shore University Hospital in 1989.Dr. Tung has been appointed as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Departement of Ophthalmology at the School of Medicine at Hoftra/Northwell where he enjoys sharing his knowledge of patient care with the ophthalmology residents.
Dr. Tung is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the New York State Ophthalmological Society, and the Long Island Ophthalmological Society, The Medical Society of the State of New York and the Nassau County Medical Society.
Dr. Tung is married with four young adult children. He enjoys cycling, sailing, traveling and an overall healthy lifestyle.

Sophia Y. Siu, MD, is a comprehensive ophthalmologist, surgeon, and fellowship-trained cornea specialist at NY Partners Ophthalmology. Matthew Marano Jr., MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and a national leader in laser vision eye care. He leads Marano Eye Care with locations in Denville, Livingston, and Newark, New Jersey.
Dr. Marano graduated from Columbia and then went to med school at George Washington University. He has been a New Jersey Monthly Top Doctor every year for over a decade and was among the first to perform bladeless laser cataract surgery, the safest, most precise way to correct both astigmatism and cataracts.
