He has written many articles published in ophthalmic journals as well as several chapters in ophthalmic textbooks. He has also presented papers at the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the “Societe d’Ophtalmologie Francaise”. As one of the early participants in the prestigious “ORBIS” program, he undertook medical missions in Costa Rica and China, for which he received acclaim from the Lions Club of Costa Rica and “ORBIS”. He has also been involved in training missions in Poland and India.
