Dr. Lindheim is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wright State University, Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio and serves as the Medical Director of the Santa Monica Fertility in Miami, Florida. He graduated from Temple School of Medicine and was a resident at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Lindheim completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Southern California, his Masters in Medical Management from Tulane University, School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and is currently Board Certified in both Ob/Gyn and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He currently serves on as the Board of Directors for ASRM and is current President for the Society of Reproductive Surgeons.
Dr. Lindheim has a major interest in In vitro fertilization, oocyte donation, embryo donation and surrogacy. He is a well-recognized expert in the field of minimally invasive reproductive surgery and has over 200 scientific publications, and book chapters and is Associate Editor for Fertility Sterility. His research focuses upon embryo implantation, minimally invasive surgery, and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). He is well known for his empathic approach to patient care including patients travelling from abroad to seek treatment, which his peers have acknowledged with awards including Top Doctors.
Douglas Smith, DO, of Gemini OBGYN in Pembroke Pines, FL, grew up in Philadelphia and practiced there for 6 years. He and Dr. Goldberg shared residencies at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, after they both attended Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In 2003, Dr. Smith moved to Weston and partnered with Dr. Goldberg in their medical practice. The 2 share a commitment to a “patients first” philosophy of health care.
Dr. Smith is currently the Chief of Staff at Memorial Hospital West. Previously he served as Department of OB/GYN Chief and Secretary/Treasurer of the hospital.
