Dr. Katarzyna Perlman received her medical degree from Semmelweis University School of Medicine in Budapest, Hungary, and is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Yvonne Noel is a board-certified OB/GYN. She received her doctorate degree in medicine from Chicago Medical School and her undergraduate degree from William Smith College in Geneva, New York. Dr. Noel completed her internship and residency in OB/GYN at SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn-Kings County Medical Center. Alina Fuchs MD MBS BS has obstetrics and gynecology and medicine in her genes. Her aunt Dr. Smekuna was the delivering OB/Gyn with her birth. Her uncle Dr. M Fuks and Dr. A. Fuks are both practicing physicians, her mother Dr. M Fuchs is a dentist. And her husband Dr. Alexeev is a current pain management fellow. 

She received bachelor of science from Rutgers University. Master’s degree of biomedical sciences at UMDNJ. Medical degree from American University of Antigua, College of Medicine. She completed her internship in obstetrics and gynecology at Nassau University Medical Center and her residency training at Maimonides Medical Center where she served as a chief resident. 

Dr. Fuchs offers a full spectrum of women’s health services, including pap tests, contraception counseling, STD testing, LEEP, and sterilization. After graduating she has been practicing in central New Jersey where she provides care to women in all stages of their life; from family planning to menopause. She is fluent in Russian. 

When she is not with patients, Dr. Fuchs loves spending times with her family. Her husband and son.

Edan Yodfat, MD is a board-certified and fellow-trained physician in obstetrics and gynecology at Boro Park OB/GYN in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Yodfat provides comprehensive women’s services and is highly trained in complex gynecological procedures like Essure® permanent birth control, assisting vaginal births following a C-section (VBAC), and performing hysterectomies and other laparoscopic surgeries.

Jen Wilen saw her first birth as a Peace Corps Volunteer in West Africa nearly 20 years ago and knew then that she wanted to become a midwife. After the Peace Corps, Jen got her Masters in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She then spent a decade working in global health and women's rights, spending much of that time overseas. She later obtained both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and her Masters in Midwifery from Columbia University. Prior to joining Boro Park, Jen worked as a Certified Nurse Midwife at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center in Brooklyn. Jen speaks both Spanish and French and loves caring for women and babies from all of the wonderfully diverse communities that call Brooklyn their home.

Dr. Elaine Sklar is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and received her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York. Dr. Sklar was appointed Chief Resident while completing her residency in OB/GYN at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Sklar is professionally affiliated with the American Medical Association and the American Osteopathic Association, and is a Junior Fellow of the American Board of OB/GYN. Dr. Guirguis started this practice in Park Slope Brooklyn in 1987. Dr. Guirguis graduated from Cairo medical school and went on to specialize in general surgery as well as extensive training in plastic and cosmetic surgery. He then found his passion in women’s health care and went on to complete his residency in OBGYN at Brooklyn Hospital.

Dr. Meleka is a New York native and her patients continue to honor her with several recognition and patient choice awards. Despite these many accolades she remains humble and kind. She has been consistently nominated by her peers for various educational symposiums to educate and mentor both young and the elderly on women's health and wellness topics. She has been a wonderful addition to the Guirguis OB/GYN Group experience given her empathy and her dedication to educating her patients on their overall gynecological wellness.

She completed her residency training at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, NY in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Women's Health. Board certification by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Meleka schedules patients in the Staten island and Brooklyn locations Monday to Friday and some Saturdays.

Dr. Paul Matta, MD, FACOG is the Director of Perinatology (also known as maternal fetal medicine) at Guirguis Obstetrics & Gynecology Group (GOBG).  Dr. Matta is a Yale-trained subspecialist with over 25 years of experience & extensive knowledge in the management of "high risk pregnancies". 

Dr. Matta and his team will collabarate with our own OBGYNs and midwifes during your pregnancy course to ensure both mom and baby are healthy.

Nargiza Gapparova is a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in gynecology and women’s health. She earned her master’s degree in science at the Long Island University in 2021. Ms. Gapparova provides the best and most gentle care to women of all ages. Under the supervision of board-certified gynecologist, Dr. Apig J. Mosses, Ms. Gapparova offers an array of services ranging from annual GYN exams, abnormal pap smears, sexually transmitted diseases, urinary tract infections, and much more.
