Faina Akselrod, MD, FACOG, FACS, is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. At Advanced Gynecology & Surgery in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn, New York. She focuses on providing individualized gynecologic care to women of all ages.

Dr. Akselrod earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of New York, Health Sciences Center at Brooklyn before going on to receive training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Nassau University Medical Center.

Shortly after completing her training, Dr. Akselrod was sought out to serve as the medical center’s director of family planning and colposcopy. Dr. Peter Guirguis is the leader in the New York Metropolitan Area as well as abroad with patients traveling from afar for Minimal Invasive and Robotic Procedures for a variety of complex causes of pelvic pain secondary to uterine fibroids, ovarian polyps, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding. I graduated from the Midwifery Program at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. Prior to becoming a midwife, I was an Ob/Gyn sonographer. Upon graduation from Downstate, I received multiple awards for dedication and perseverance to the Midwifery Program. I worked for a very busy private Ob Gyn practice in the last three years and will continue to be determined and dedicated to keeping the well-being of women, their babies and family members foremost in my mind.

Sagar Patel, MD, OBGYN has obstetrics and gynecology in his genes. Born and raised in New Jersey as the son of a well-respected OBGYN, Dr. Patel now offers board-certified obstetric and gynecological services to all women in Monmouth County and surrounding areas at his private practice in Holmdel, New Jersey.

A true Jersey boy, Dr. Patel completed his entire medical training at some of the Garden State's most distinguished academic institutions. After graduating with distinction from Stevens Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science, Dr. Patel finished his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Mohamed Esiely, MD is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist serving the Hoboken community at his practice Health Wise Women in New Jersey.

Before immigrating to the United States, Dr. Esiely was a physician in Egypt where he received his medical degree from Cairo University. As an attending physician, he focused his skills on keeping students knowledgeable as they studied, lectured, and traveled the world.

In the United States, Dr. Esiely completed his residency at New York’s Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where he was chief resident. He became a certified practitioner of the da Vinci® surgical system in 2012, a robotic system used to perform minimally invasive surgical procedures.

Dr. Esiely established Health Wise Women in 2010. In his more than 20 years practicing medicine, he has received numerous awards, including the Laparoscopic Surgery Award and Resident Award for Excellence in Teaching. The Egyptian Ministry of Health also selected Dr. Esiely for the Family Planning Program Award, and he won first prize for a case report at New York Medical College’s Annual Resident Research Day.

Compassionate double board-certified physician, Susan Wolf, MD, offers high quality care and a patient-centered approach to medicine at the University Reproductive Associates Hasbrouck Heights and Hoboken locations in New Jersey.  

Before joining University Reproductive Associates in 2008, Dr. Wolf was the physician in charge of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. 

Dr. Wolf graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania before completing her medical degree at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City.
