Maureen Tart, MD, FACOG, NCMP, is a board-certified OB/GYN at Ob-Gyne Associates of Lake Forest, Ltd. in Lake Forest and Grayslake, Illinois.
Dr. Tart grew up in Connecticut and came to the Windy City to complete her residency training.
She completed her undergraduate degree at Georgetown University with a major in psychology. She also received her medical degree from Georgetown and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Chicago Hospitals. She was the academic chief resident and trained with Heather B. Heiberger, MD, FACOG, and Elizabeth Oh, MD, FACOG. Before coming to Ob-Gyne Associates of Lake Forest, Ltd., she practiced in Chicago for over ten years. She was the Co-Medical Director of her group and Vice Chair of the OB/GYN department for several years.
Dr. Tart’s special interests include adolescence, weight management, guiding patients through the infertility process and menopause management. She is a NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner (NCMP).
Dr. Tart believes her role as an OB/GYN is to partner with patients to promote their health. From teenage to menopausal years, the reward is the long term relationships she develops with the patients and their families.
She is married with two adult stepsons and two younger sons, who keep her very busy. Her youngest son was adopted domestically, so promoting adoption is important to her. Her decision to move to the suburbs was driven by her children.

From two offices in Lake Forest and Grayslake, Illinois, Dr. Mass provides personal, expert, and compassionate care to all patients. She is the founder and President of Women's Specialty Care SC, one of the premier women’s health medical practices of the north shore of Chicago since 2002.
Learning and furthering education has always been a passion for Dr. Mass. She began her medical studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). Next, she pursued specialty training in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University of Michigan (UMich), in Ann Arbor.
She was appointed administrative chief resident in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor,, Michigan, and her first academic appointment was as Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh (Pitt) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Mass is currently appointed as clinical faculty at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (NU Feinberg) in Chicago, Illinois. She serves as the medical staff attending at Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest and NorthShore Highland Park hospitals.
She is a member of the North American Menopause Society (NAMS), Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society, and Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Mass is certified in Bone Densitometry from the International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD).
With close ties to the community, Dr. Mass is pleased to be serving the residents of Lake Forest, Grayslake, and surrounding areas. She is a resident and has raised her family in the City of Lake Forest.

Marsha E. Gorens, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist serving the women in and around the Chicago area. With more than twenty-five years of experience as an OB/GYN, Dr. Gorens understands the nuances of women’s health and the role that body image can play.
Besides providing women’s health care, Dr. Gorens is committed to promoting the importance of healthy skin and improved skin care practices. Her practice strives to renew and rejuvenate all skin types, with an emphasis on mature skin and women of color.
