A native of Michigan, Dr. Grier received her Bachelor of Science in zoology from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, in 1997. She earned her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor in 2001. While in medical school, she was exposed to all fields of medicine. She realized the need for providers dedicated to gynecology and decided to pursue women’s health. She then relocated to Los Angeles, where she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology from the LAC+USC Medical Center, affiliated with the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. During her residency, she conducted research on menopause, evaluating the normal range of estrogen levels in postmenopausal women.
She began her career in private practice in 2005. Dr. Mandelman graduated Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude from Clark University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in math. After attending the Chicago Medical School, she did her OB/GYN internship at UCLA and completed her residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMD NJ). In 1999 she began practicing in Long Beach, California, and In 2006 she founded her own private practice, Westlake Women’s Health Specialists.
Dr. Mandelman is currently on staff at Los Robles Hospital, where she has previously been vice-chairman of the OB/GYN department. She is affiliated with Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital and Los Robles Surgicenter. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her wonderful family and friends.
