In 2007, Dr. Ubom moved to the United States to join her husband and decided to go to medical school. She completed her pre-medical studies and received another bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. She then attended the historical Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, where she received her medical degree. She recently completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology from Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, Pennsylvania. After this Dr. Lu decided to go back to her first love, which was direct patient care, specializing in women’s health.
