Dr. George chose a career in OB/GYN because she enjoys empowering and caring for women from puberty through menopause. She specializes in pregnancy and childbirth, as well as treating many gynecologic health conditions.
Dr. George is originally from Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology/Pre-Medicine at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. Dr. George then pursued a Master of Public Health degree at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where she also specialized in Global Health. She stayed at UW-Madison where she then completed her Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Callahan grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, before moving on to Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, for her undergraduate studies. After spending a year in Washington, DC, conducting clinical research, Dr. Callahan decided to continue her education, completing medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Following medical school, Dr. Callahan went to Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana, for her OB/GYN residency.
