Mio Sawai, MD, FACOG, is a skilled and passionate OB/GYN at NY Midtown OB/GYN. Dr. Sawai provides high-quality care from offices in midtown Manhattan, New York City and the town of Mamaroneck in Westchester County, New York.
She previously trained in Japan, where in addition to practicing OB/GYN, she experienced the fields of pediatrics, neonatal ICU, medicine, emergency medicine, radiology, and anesthesia. She chose to practice general OB/GYN to serve women throughout their adult lives.

Yuzuru Anzai, MD, FACOG, is a skilled OB/GYN and the practice’s head at NY Midtown OB/GYN. Dr. Anzai provides high-quality care from offices in midtown Manhattan, New York City and the town of Mamaroneck in Westchester County, New York.
Dr. Anzai has been active in clinical practice and research since 1995, initially at NYU Langone Health and more recently at Lenox Hill Hospital. In addition, he has been involved for a number of years with the Japanese community across the United States and physicians nationwide refer him patients.
As an experienced obstetrician who has delivered over 4,000 babies, Dr. Anzai is an expert in the use of forceps and takes pride in his low Cesarean section rate. He is also fluent in minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries.

Sarah is a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, originally from Birmingham, AL. She obtained her first Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Neuroscience/Psychology from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA. During her time there, she underwent emergency medical technician training and continued to pursue her passion for healthcare. After graduating, she worked as a medical assistant at a private OB/GYN clinic in Washington, DC, where her interest in women’s healthcare blossomed. Sarah then earned her second Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Emory University, gaining valuable experience as a registered nurse in both fertility and psychiatric settings. She furthered her education by completing her Masters of Science in Nursing at Emory University, specializing in Women’s Health.
Following her graduation, Sarah joined a private gynecology practice in Atlanta, GA, before eventually relocating to New York City. Her specific areas of interest include hereditary and ovarian cancers, preventative gynecologic care, fertility, mental health awareness, and contraceptive management.

Dr. Deirdre Johnson Gundy is a board-certified gynecologist with over 30 years of experience. A graduate of Drexel University College of Medicine, she completed her residency at prestigious institutions including the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Stony Brook.
Dr. Deirdre Johnson Gundy previously served as an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Drexel University College of Medicine and led the implementation of a minimally invasive gynecologic surgery program at Mercy Philadelphia Hospital in 2012. She is passionate about training the next generation of physicians and has mentored numerous residents in advanced surgical techniques.

Anna Barbieri, MD, is a double board-certified gynecologist and integrative medicine physician, as well as a specialist in menopause medicine. In her New York City practice located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, her passion is truly personalized, modern holistic care of women. From preventive care to complex gynecologic issues such as PCOS or fibroids, Dr. Barbieri partners with her patients to help them maintain or restore optimal gynecologic and hormonal health. Dr. Suzanne Fenske is passionate about empowering women to take charge of their health. As a double board-certified gynecologist and integrative medicine physician she offers a genuine, integrative approach, combining traditional medicine with botanicals, targeted supplements, and personalized lifestyle strategies.
Dr. Fenske’s passion arises from her personal experiences with hormones and health. She was diagnosed with PCOS in her 20s and followed the conventional recommendation to take birth control pills, which worsened her IBS. The IBS resolved when she stopped taking the pill, leading to a fascination with the interconnectedness of the body and how hormones respond to women’s environment, food, and stress.
Many years later, after enduring a stressful time, Dr. Fenske experienced amenorrhea (loss of menstrual cycles). When the stress calmed, and her cycles returned, she realized she was in perimenopause and was inspired to learn more about the struggles every woman faces as her hormones change in mid-life. She made it her passion and career to be educated in different approaches to healthcare and wellbeing. Shira Plonka is a board certified Genetic Counselor at ROSH Maternal Fetal Medicine. Additionally, she is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC); she earned her Master of Science in Human Genetics from Sarah Lawrence College. Prior to receiving her master’s, Shira received an honors degree in psychology and social work from University of Waterloo. Shira has held internships in many of New York City’s top hospitals, acquiring a broad exposure to many disciplines and specialties, including cancer and pediatric genetics.
Shira focuses on preconception and prenatal genetic counseling: carrier screening, prenatal genetic screening and diagnostic testing. She provides information about the risks of chromosome abnormalities, birth defects, genetic conditions, and teratogen exposure to individuals, couples or families. Dr. Marjon Mobasseri grew up in Ohio and graduated from Case Western Reserve University where she studied Biomedical Engineering. She earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine, after which she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Brooklyn Hospital Center.
In addition to providing the full range of obstetric and gynecologic services, Dr. Mobasseri is active in research and community wellness projects. With each patient visit she strives to provide an environment of comfort and cooperation, and she looks forward to delivering optimal care to you.
In her free time, Dr. Mobasseri enjoys spending time with family and traveling. In addition to English, she is fluent in Persian.
Ellen received her undergraduate degree in molecular biology from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY. She earned her masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY.
Upon completing a post graduate Emergency Department Fellowship, she transitioned into OBGYN to follow her passion for Obstetrics and Women's Health. She places emphasis on health education, preventative care, diagnosis, and treatment of women to have a positive impact on their lives.

Daniel F. Roshan, MD, FACOG, FACS, specializes in maternal-fetal medicine, demonstrating an expertise in high-risk pregnancies that’s well known in New York City and beyond, as women needing chorionic villus sampling are referred to him from across the country. He truly considers it an honor to take exceptional care of his patients with high-risk pregnancies at his practice, Rosh Maternal & Fetal Medicine in the Midtown East area of New York City.
Dr. Roshan specializes in recurrent pregnancy losses, preterm labor, multiple pregnancies, thrombophilia and pregnancy, and performing cerclage procedures. He also offers experienced medical care for women faced with chronic disease during pregnancy.

Dr. John Migotsky is a Board-certified OB/GYN, and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He comes to ROSH Maternal-Fetal medicine with 16 years of experience. After graduating from Brown University with a degree in neuroscience, Dr. Migotsky conducted research in maternal/child health and perinatal epidemiology with the Rhode Island Department of Health. He received his medical degree at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Then he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY. Prior to his work with ROSH, he worked in private practice in Westchester, NY and was affiliated with Greenwich Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital.
Dr. John Migotsky is committed to providing high-quality care to patients by listening to their concerns, addressing their needs and providing insightful remedies and recommendations. Michelle D. Morgan, M.D. FACOG is a founding member of OBGYN Westside, where she has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology on the since 2001. Dr. Morgan attended Lehigh University for her undergraduate degree in civil engineering, and then earned her medical degree at SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology training at the Mount Sinai Hospital on the upper east side of Manhattan, where she is an Assistant Professor and remains active in medical education.

Katharine Pelletier, MD, is an experienced OBGYN. She recently joined the team of compassionate providers at OBGYN Westside, PLLC, located in the Upper West Side of New York City.
Dr. Pelletier is a native New Yorker who is particularly interested in general pregnancy care, high-risk obstetrics, contraception, adolescent GYN, and LGBTQ+ care. She graduated from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and completed her premedical studies at Columbia University in New York, New York, after which she received her medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn.
Dr. Pelletier completed her OBGYN residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, and comes to the practice with experience in private practice. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and improving her French language skills.

Ana Bermudez, MD, is a skilled, board-eligible physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. Serving patients at OBGYN Westside on the Upper West Side of New York City, Dr. Bermudez welcomes patients from throughout the five boroughs.
Dr. Bermudez received her bachelor’s in International Relations from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, where she was a Davis Scholar. She continued on to Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to complete her pre-medical studies. Returning to Brown for her graduate studies, Dr. Bermudez earned her medical degree from the Alpert Medical School with academic and public service honors.
Relocating to California, Dr. Bermudez completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Los Angeles. After years of intense study, she was named an attending physician at Stanford Medicine Partners in Northern California. She enjoys providing care in all areas of obstetrics and gynecology, including labor and delivery, preconception, and contraceptive counseling.

Justine Kim, MD is a board certified physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Kim is committed to providing each patient with compassionate, skilled and comfortable care.
Dr. Kim attended Columbia University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude specializing in Neuroscience and Behavior. She then went on to SUNY Downstate Medical School where she not only graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society but was also awarded the 41st Annual Chandler McCuskey Brooks Award. This prestigious award is given to one medical student for outstanding achievement in the basic sciences.
Dr. Kim then completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. Dr. Kim has been awarded several research grants and worked in various research departments throughout her career. She has special clinical interests in laparoscopic surgery and family planning.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Kim enjoys painting, exploring new restaurants and walking her corgi, Frankie, around the park.
Ching-Lynn Chen, MD, FACOG is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist who has a special interest in helping women optimize their overall wellness as well as their reproductive and sexual health through every stage of life, including adolescence, pregnancy and menopause. In addition to her love of obstetrics, her interests include contraception, adolescent gynecology, perimenopause and menopause, and family planning. She has been in private practice with OBGYN Westside since 2000 and is a founding member.
Dr. Chen received B.A. in psychology at Stanford University, and is a graduate of the SUNY at Stony Brook School of Medicine. She completed her residency training at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine.
