Laura April Gago, MD, is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist, as well as the medical director of Gago Center for Fertility, with locations in Brighton, Lansing, and Ann Arbor, Michigan. Dr. Gago has been cultivating personalized fertility care for couples throughout the community since launching the practice in 2007.
After graduating from medical school at the University of California at San Diego, Dr. Gago and her husband decided to return to her native Ann Arbor to complete her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Michigan.
Following her residency, Dr. Gago went on to complete a rigorous reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship at Wayne State University in Detroit, where she ultimately accepted an assistant clinical professor position. Just one year later, Dr. Gago became the University of Michigan In Vitro Fertilization Medical Director, during which time she developed the Fertility Preservation Program and the Donor Oocyte Program.
Dr. Gago’s goal was always to have the freedom to provide state-of-the-art fertility care and complementary wellness programs for couples trying to conceive. That’s why she launched Gago Center for Fertility nearly 18 years ago.
Since then, the practice has grown to serve more couples in the Brighton, Lansing, and Ann Arbor communities. In 2013, Dr. Gago opened Gago IVF, an IVF lab in a peaceful setting, so that couples can enjoy individualized fertility care in a comfortable environment.

Dr. Ahmad earned his medical degree in 1998 and completed his residency training at HMC in Flint, MI. Dr. Ahmad is triple Board Certified in Obgyn, Minimal invasive gynecology & pediatric & adolescent Gynecology. He is a clinical professor of OB/GYN for MSU College of Human Medicine. Dr. Ahmad is the Chairman of Obgyn at HMC. Dr. Ahmad has earned the ACOG MENTOR of the year award, the CREOG National Faculty Award, the APGO Award for Excellence in teaching and the MSU Excellence in Teaching Award. He has been voted one of Michigan's favorite physicians by the Patients' Choice Awards and was voted one of the area's most compassionate physicians multiple times. Dr. Ahmad has a vast knowledge of obstetrics, gynecological problems and procedures, top notch surgical skills including and specializing in minimally invasive surgeries such as Robotic Surgery. Dr. Ahmad is a CERTIFIED ASSOCIATE of the LVRI of Dr. David Matlock,a renowned Cosmetic Gynecologist to the elite of Hollywood.

Prior to medical school, Dr DeAnna worked as a nutritionist for the Women, Infant, and Children's program. She attended medical school at the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine and pursued her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ascension Genesys in Grand Blanc, MI.
After residency, Dr DeAnna worked as a general OB-GYN in private practice. She actively advocated for women's health through leadership positions, education, research, and outreach. Dr DeAnna has served as the department chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ascension Genesys since 2021.
Dr DeAnna's passion for fertility led her to join the team at Gago Center for Fertility. She feels privileged to be a part of each and every patient's fertility journey, recognizing each journey has a very different and special history. Dr DeAnna strives to bring hope and personalized care at every step along the path forward.

The only bad experience I am having is with administration. I’ve been trying to call the billing department for two weeks now because I want to move forward with fertility treatment, but needed some clarification on a few points before moving forward. I’ve left messages with no response. It’s frustrating because now I’ve missed my current cycle and have to wait for my next cycle to proceed with treatment. I am now second guessing with proceeding due to this experience. ”
