Shira Plonka is a board certified Genetic Counselor at ROSH Maternal Fetal Medicine. Additionally, she is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC); she earned her Master of Science in Human Genetics from Sarah Lawrence College. Dr. Marjon Mobasseri grew up in Ohio and graduated from Case Western Reserve University where she studied Biomedical Engineering. She earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine, after which she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Brooklyn Hospital Center.
In addition to providing the full range of obstetric and gynecologic services, Dr. Mobasseri is active in research and community wellness projects. With each patient visit she strives to provide an environment of comfort and cooperation, and she looks forward to delivering optimal care to you.
