Thao Nguyen, OBGYN is a caring and empathetic member of the team at Frisco Obstetrics and Gynecology, PA, in Frisco, Texas. She is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She is a Baylor alumna who earned her medical degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas. She then trained at John Peter Smith (JPS) county hospital in Fort Worth, where she became a well-rounded obstetrician and gynecologist by caring for girls and women from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
She derives pleasure in bringing comfort to women in their pivotal health care experiences. Her most cherished moments in medicine are when patients tell her she helped make a difference in their lives. As a proponent for diversity and accessibility to health care, she utilizes her medical knowledge and her fluency in Vietnamese to volunteer at events where healthcare is delivered to the underserved population in Dallas-Fort Worth.
She currently holds an officer position in Vietnamese Health Professional Association as well as donating her time at Hope Clinic in McKinney – Free Health Clinic.
Dr. Nguyen provides preventative care for all women of any orientation as well as caring for their gynecological issues. She also provides care for all phases of pregnancy and the postpartum period. She practices a wide range of gynecological surgeries, including minimally invasive procedures with certification in robotic surgeries and new techniques such as ExCITE and vNOTES.
While encouraging women to be their healthiest selves, Dr. Nguyen practices what she preaches. She enjoys staying fit by jogging, hiking, and attending fitness classes. Ted Fogwell, MD, is one of Dallas’ most decorated doctors, having been recognized as among the city’s best OB/GYNs by D Magazine over 13 times. His commitment to providing patients with a warm, friendly environment stems from his patient-first mindset, believing that honesty and trust between patient and physician are the keys to successful treatment.
After graduating cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Fogwell earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he is now an associate professor of OB/GYN. He also makes yearly trips to Guatemala and Romania where he provides medical training to physicians and medical care for the countries’ citizens.
Dr. Fogwell is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and performed his residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. He is currently affiliated with Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas (the Margot Perot Center for Women and Infants) and the Texas Health Women's Specialty Surgery Center. He’s an expert in minimally invasive and robotic surgeries, especially transabdominal cerclage (TAC).
Dr. Fogwell lives in Dallas with his wife. He has two daughters and four grandchildren.
Born at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas himself, Emil Tajzoy, MD, seemed fated to become part of the hospital’s expert surgical staff. While gaining his Bachelor of Science at Southern Methodist University he assisted in neurological research at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, where he would later discover his calling in obstetrics and gynecology.
During his OB/GYN residency at Parkland Memorial Hospital, Dr. Tajzoy was recognized for his remarkable patient care and unflagging dedication to teaching medical students, earning membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He then pursued a gynecological surgery fellowship at Texas Health Presbyterian, where he impressed some of the most renowned surgeons in north Texas with his abilities in minimally invasive robotic and laparoscopic surgeries. Dr. Tajzoy is particularly adept in performing robotic-assisted abdominal cerclage surgery, an operation to reduce the risk of early pregnancy loss.
Dr. Tajzoy has committed himself to providing compassionate, personalized, evidence-based care to his patients. This includes not only minimally invasive surgery, but routine and high-risk obstetric care, contraceptive management, preventive health, and menopause. Jeffrey M. Hantes, DO, is a skilled surgeon at Female Health Associates of North Texas. From the office in Fort Worth, Texas, Dr. Hantes utilizes his years of experience in gynecology and urogynecology to provide top-notch care to his patients.
Dr. Hantes attended medical school and completed his residency locally at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth. He also served as a professor there for five years. Following his residency, Dr. Hantes completed a fellowship in advanced endoscopic and pelvic surgery at the Women’s Hospital of Texas in Houston.
Working with underprivileged and high-risk patients in his residency, Dr. Hantes developed a passion for treating difficult and complex cases. After graduating from the University of Missouri-Kansas City I relocated to Dallas for a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Parkland Memorial Hospital. I loved this area, so decided to start my practice in Fort Worth. What I found were a wonderful a medical community, patients, and colleagues which helped build a thriving practice. Over the years, I have strived to provide compassionate and expert care in a professional and friendly environment. Practicing obstetrics has been a wonderful opportunity to participate in building families that make up our community. And gynecology has allowed me to provide care to thousands of DFW women from the teens, through the reproductive years and into menopause.
Modern women’s healthcare means options and choices. And as medical science develops, so do treatment options. I have strived to stay abreast of the latest developments and have continued to position myself as one who can offer contemporary treatments to my patients. From 2013-2016 she also worked as a forensic nurse for the Scott and White hospital system in College station and Temple Texas. In this role she provided care to victims of domestic violence, trauma, assault, and abuse from pediatrics through adult.
In 2017, Hilary joined Eighth Avenue Obstetrics and Gynecology. She enjoys providing care to her patients, covering topics such as preventive care, contraception counseling, sexually transmitted disease screenings and prevention, depression and anxiety, pregnancy, prenatal, and postnatal care.

Dr. Christopher Petr is a board certified OBGYN who specializes in treating a broad range of women’s health issues. Dr. Petr received his medical school training from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed his OB/GYN residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center of El Paso. Dr. Petr offers a complete spectrum of obstetric and gynecological care, including:
