Indu Stacey Anand, MD, is an experienced OB/GYN at North Atlanta Women's Specialists. She proudly provides care to patients at the East Cobb office in Marietta, as well as the Midtown and Northside offices in Atlanta.
Dr. Anand grew up in Clemson, South Carolina, and received her undergraduate degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina in 1990. She went on to attend Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where she received her medical doctorate in 1994. She then completed her residency in general obstetrics and gynecology from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 1998.
After holding a faculty position at the University of Tennessee-Memphis, Dr. Anand joined North Atlanta Women's Specialists in 2004 where she has been practicing general OB/GYN. In 2020 she completed a fellowship at The Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine and enjoys empowering her patients to optimize their health and wellbeing through evidence-based integrative approaches. She is additionally a member of the North American Menopause Society and takes a special interest in helping women transition through perimenopause and menopause.
When not working, Dr. Anand enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter.
John Donnelly, MD, is a compassionate OB/GYN at North Atlanta Women's Specialists. He is dedicated to providing patients with quality care at the East Cobb office in Marietta, the Johns Creek office in Duluth, and the Midtown office in Atlanta, Georgia.
Born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, in 1956, Dr. Donnelly was raised in Utah and Alabama. He attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, graduating summa cum laude and with the Dean's Award for highest undergraduate achievement in the College of Arts and Sciences in 1978. Dr. Donnelly earned his medical degree in 1982 from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He then completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville in 1986. Afterward, he moved to Atlanta and has been a partner in the same private practice group of physicians ever since.
Dr. Donnelly's practice is currently focused on family-centered and high-risk obstetrics, well-woman care, and menopause management. He is board-certified and a member of the Medical Association of Georgia. His practice enjoys a reputation for welcoming a wide diversity of women in the community, and he highly values the relationships he has forged over his years in the profession. He continues to enjoy his work to this day.
Dr. Donnelly is married to Elizabeth Woods Donnelly, who has an independent educational consulting practice in Sandy Springs. Their two young adult children grew up in Atlanta and were both born at Northside Hospital. Together, the family enjoys traveling, especially to the great Northwest. Outside of medicine, Dr. Donnelly has interests in music, particularly opera, and literature. He has been a mentor for both youth and adult formation through Holy Innocents Episcopal Church for two decades.
Nitasha Menon, MD, is a caring OB/GYN at North Atlanta Women's Specialists. She feels privileged to care for women during critical periods in their lives and sees patients at the Northside and Midtown offices in Atlanta and Johns Creek office in Duluth.
Dr. Menon was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (GO HEELS!), where she majored in psychology. She then spent a few years working in the area of property management and clinical research. She returned to UNC for medical school and earned her Master's of Public Health during this time. Dr. Menon completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at UNC.
Dr. Menon fell in love with obstetrics during medical school, and her interests include contraception, weight gain during pregnancy, and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Menon is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Menon has a 3 year old son and a new daughter, both delivered at Northside by her partners! Her other baby is a 100-lb lapdog named Zeus. In her free time, she loves to work out, travel, and spend time with family and friends.
Jeffrey Marcus, MS, MD, joined North Atlanta Women's Specialists when it was formed in 1994. He is proud to provide a variety of obstetrics and gynecologic services to patients at the East Cobb office in Marietta and the Johns Creek office in Duluth, Georgia. His special interests include management of high-risk pregnancies, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, contraception, and menopause care.
Originally from Rockville, Maryland, Dr. Marcus received his Bachelor of Science in physics from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He went on to earn a master's degree in biomedical engineering from The George Washington University (GW) in Washington, DC. He remained at GW for medical school and residency. After finishing his training, in which he was a chief resident and elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, he moved to Atlanta to begin working in private practice.
Dr. Marcus is board certified and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the Society for Family Planning. In addition, he is on the executive committee of the Atlanta Women’s Health Group and previously served as Chairman of Perinatal Services at Northside Hospital in Atlanta.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Marcus is the Chief Medical Officer of Femasys Inc., a start-up biotech company that designs and develops minimally invasive in-office devices for women's health. He is also on the advisory boards of The Rally Foundation and Camp Sea Gull/Seafarer. Dr. Marcus has been married for 31 years to his wife, Laura, and they have three children.
Anushka Magal, MD, is excited to join North Atlanta Women’s Specialists. She is grateful for the opportunity to provide full spectrum obstetrics and gynecology care for patients at the Northside and Midtown offices in Atlanta and Johns Creek office in Duluth, Georgia.
Dr. Magal grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She received her undergraduate degree in anthropology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and her master’s degree in biomedical sciences from Tufts University. She graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine with her medical degree and completed her residency training in OB/GYN at Central Michigan University.
Throughout her training, Dr. Magal has been actively involved in advocacy work and held national leadership roles with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Her clinical interests include contraception, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (including robotic surgery), and both low- and high-risk obstetric care.
Outside of work, Dr. Magal enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking, cycling, and is excited to explore the Atlanta area.
At North Atlanta Women's Specialists, OB/GYN Sara Morris, MD, finds it a privilege to form relationships and take care of women at different phases of life. She is dedicated to providing patients with the best treatments at the East Cobb office in Marietta, the Midtown office and the Johns Creek office in Duluth, Georgia.
Dr. Morris was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, and received her Bachelor of Arts in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology from the University of Colorado Boulder. She graduated from The Sackler School of Medicine New York State/American Program of Tel Aviv University and did her residency training at Mount Sinai West and Mount Sinai St. Luke’s in New York City. She was an administrative chief resident and received awards for teaching and pelvic surgery. After her residency, she remained in New York as faculty at Mount Sinai Hospital. In addition, she worked at St John’s Riverside Hospital in association with Hudson River Healthcare.
Dr. Morris moved to Atlanta and joined North Atlanta Women’s Specialists in 2018. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Some of her interests include, but are not limited to, both low and high-risk obstetrics, infertility, adolescent gynecology, contraceptive management, and minimally invasive gynecological surgery. With two children conceived with IVF, she has a deep interest in infertility and helping others through their fertility journey and beyond.
Dr. Morris is married and has three children- two of whom were delivered at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. She enjoys spending time with family, cooking, spinning, traveling, and photography.
Arthur Gumer, MD, is an experienced OB/GYN at North Atlanta Women's Specialists. He provides a wide range of services at the Johns Creek office in Duluth and the Northside office in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Gumer was born and raised in New York. He received his Bachelor of Science in biology and psychology at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, in 1976. He graduated from The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC in 1984, and completed his residency training at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia. As chief resident, he received the Thomas Boggs Award for Neonatal-Perinatal Research. Upon completion of his residency in 1988, he began practicing full-time in Atlanta and has been with the same group of physicians for almost 30 years.
Dr. Gumer enjoys providing care for both low-risk and high-risk pregnancies and values the long-term relationships he has made with his patients and their families. He is interested in all aspects of gynecologic care for women at various stages of their lives, from adolescent gynecology through the menopause years. Providing routine well-woman care, he is particularly interested in abnormalities of the cervix, contraceptive management, infertility, minimally invasive surgery including laparoscopic hysterectomy, and management of menopause. He is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and has been a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1990.
Dr. Gumer is married and has two adult children who live in Denver, and his daughter is also an OB/GYN. He enjoys playing the guitar and piano, photography, running, and is an avid reader. He is also one of only a few certified Mohels in the Atlanta community.
Clinton Ashford, MD, FACOG, is the chief medical officer at The Ashford Center in Athens, Georgia. Dr. Ashford is an experienced gynecologist and a leading expert in advanced endometrial ablation procedures, having performed more than 5,000 procedures.

Dr. Rebecca Ashford earned her medical degree and completed her postgraduate medical training at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Ashford specializes in women’s health, with a special interest in hormonal problems that women face in their 30’s, 40’s, and 50’s.

Dr. Howard is a native of Ashburn, Georgia. He studied medicine at the Medical College of Georgia, from which he graduated in 1992. Dr. Slaughter started the practice with a focus on providing safe, comfortable and innovative healthcare for women, while promoting entrepreneurship for Physicians.

Originally from Chicago, Dr. Slaughter received her baccalaureate in 2004 from Howard University, and her doctorate of Medicine from the University of Chicago Pritzker School in Medicine in 2008.
She then ventured to Atlanta, GA to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Grady Memorial Hospital under the Morehouse School of Medicine (c/o 2012).
