Initially from metro Detroit, Dr. Helmick pursued her education at Albion College in Michigan for her undergraduate studies and at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing for her medical degree. She completed her residency at Michigan State University and has remained deeply connected to her community.
