I chose this field of medicine to make a different in the lives of women. I was drawn to this field by experiencing the miracle of birth as a medical student. It is one of the happiest times in people’s lives and being a part of that every day is truly a very rewarding experience. I am also very passionate about women’s health care and this field allows me to care for women from their teenage years until menopause and beyond. As an OBGYN/Urogynecologist located in Marietta, GA & Woodstock, GA, Dr. Windom has been at OB-GYN Associates of Marietta since 1998. He has over 26 years of experience as a physician and is a national public speaker, published author, local and national surgical preceptor, and a research and development consultant for a number of medical and surgical companies. Dr. Tackitt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and his medical degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia. He relocated to Denver, Colorado, to complete an internship in internal medicine, a second internship in obstetrics and gynecology, and a residency in obstetrics and gynecology, all at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Dr. Tackitt is currently a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and enjoys membership in the Missouri State Medical Association, the St. Louis Gynecological Society, and the American Urogynecologic Society. Prior to joining the team at OB-GYN Associates of Marietta in 1999, he ran a private practice in southern Missouri.
In his practice, Dr. Tackitt specializes in pelvic floor reconstruction, the treatment of urinary incontinence, and advanced minimally invasive laparoscopy. He maintains a subspecialty interest in urogynecology and teaches pelvic floor reconstruction surgical procedures.

Natalie R. Needham, MD, is a highly skilled OB/GYN who enjoys providing compassionate care to women in every stage of life. She’s currently on the team at OB-GYN Associates of Marietta and treats patients at their offices in Marietta and Woodstock, Georgia.
Dr. Needham is a proud Louisiana native who graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. She earned her medical degree from West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia, and completed her OB/GYN residency at Mercy Hospital in Chicago. During her residency, she served as the chief resident, was awarded the Academic Achievement Award, the Resident Achievement in Laparoscopy Award, and earned the title “Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology-Robotics and Laparoscopy.”
Dr. Needham joins the OB-GYN Associates of Marietta team after seven years in Alabama, where she worked in private practice in Montgomery and taught as an Associate Professor at the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. Dr. Huffman graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Dr. Huffman has been practicing with OB-GYN Associates of Marietta since 1998, where she splits time between the Marietta and Woodstock offices. She’s particularly adept in office-based procedures and in- and outpatient surgeries, and she’s widely sought after for her skills and compassion in offering counseling for contraceptive and menopausal issues.

J. Matthew Tuck, MD is a board ceritified OB-GYN who provides care to patients at the Marietta office of OB-GYN Associate of Marietta.
Dr. Tuck graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Insititute of Technology, and practiced as an engineer for a few years before making the switch to medicine. He earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. He then completed a residency in OB-GYN at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.
Dr. Tuck felt a call to practice rural medicine after finishing residency, and spent time in rural North Carolina and Oregon. He was then an assistant professor of OB-GYN at University of Pittsburgh before deciding to return to Atlanta and join OB-GYN Associates of Marietta.

Lillian Schapiro, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified gynecologist serving patients at Ideal Gynecology, LLC, with locations in greater Atlanta, Georgia proudly serving the communities of Stockbridge, Conyers, Locust Grove, Hampton, Covington, Jackson, Buckhead, Vinings, Smyrna, Roswell, Alpharetta, Midtown, and Sandy Springs, GA. A global women's health advocate, Dr. Schapiro has practiced around the world. As a medical student, she wrote a paper comparing obstetric outcomes in a rural hospital in Kenya with a hospital in the Bronx, New York. As a Chief Resident, she published her original research on cervical cancer screening in Bali, Indonesia. More recently, she received the Caring for Congo Award from the Dikembe Mutombo Foundation for gynecologic surgery performed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Dr. Schapiro was the U.S. leader for Projet Myome and has been on three missions to the DRC helping women with fibroids and training local doctors. She has also trained physicians and birth attendants in Nepal.
Dr. Schapiro believes that every patient is unique, and she enjoys discussing their concerns and coming up with a treatment plan together. Her specialties include irregular bleeding, heavy periods, fertility problems, fibroids, pelvic pain, endometriosis, and incontinence.
Dr. Schapiro is often called upon by CNN as well as local news outlets for her medical expertise. She maintains a YouTube channel to educate people about women's health.
Dr. Schapiro and her husband, Robert Schapiro, are the parents of three daughters. She is the author of Tick Tock, a novel chronicling her own struggles with infertility.
Xiaoyan Emma Li is a board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at Ideal Gynecology, LLC. Xiaoyan is dedicated to supporting women throughout Atlanta, Georgia, in their health care.
Xiaoyan Li completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Kennesaw State University. Inspired by her experience as a postpartum nurse, Xiaoyan decided to pursue her Master of Science in nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she specialized in women’s health. After completing her degree, Xiaoyan began working as a women’s health nurse practitioner, providing compassionate care to women across their lifespan.

Albert Scott Jr., MD, is a board-certified OB/GYN physician and surgeon. He is also the president of Dekalb Women’s Specialists in Decatur and Stonecrest, Georgia.
Dr. Scott was born in Mansfield, Ohio. He graduated with honors from Ohio State University in Columbus with his bachelor of science in mathematics. He then furthered his education, obtaining his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Scott then completed his residency training at Henry Ford Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his da Vinci robotic training and received his certification in 2014.
Dr. Scott is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). In August 2019, he was inaugurated as the 69th president of the Georgia Obstetrical and Gynecological Society (GOGS) after serving on its board for over 12 years. The governor also appointed him to sit on the Coronavirus Task Force during the most critical medical crisis in recent times.
Dr. Scott has received many prestigious awards, namely “Top Doc” by Atlanta Magazine and a nomination for “Outstanding Physician of the Year” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. Dr. Scott was the first African American physician to become chief of staff at Dekalb Medical Center in its 50-year history and is president-elect of the Dekalb Medical Society.
Dr. Scott enjoys golf, running, and intermediate ballroom dancing when he's not working. He completed the Boston (2010) and New York (2013) marathons. He is also conversant in Spanish.

Mercy Amua-Quarshie, MD, MPH, CMP, has been a board-certified OB/GYN since 2001 and serves patients at Dekalb Women’s Specialists in Decatur and Stonecrest, Georgia.
Dr. Amua-Quarshie was born in Ghana, West Africa, but grew up in New York, where she received her medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine in New York City in 1995. She then underwent residency training in OB/GYN at Boston Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. She was voted "best OB/GYN teaching resident" during her residency there and received a Berlex Labs award.
After completing residency training in 1999, Dr. Amua-Quarshie returned home to the greater New York area, where she worked in teaching hospitals and private practice settings. After marriage and a period of locum work, she and her family eventually relocated to the south, in the Dallas Fort Worth area, where she worked in the Methodist Health System as an OB/GYN hospitalist physician for several years.
She comes with years of OB/GYN experience, a passion for teaching, and a special love for obstetrics, always endeavoring to honor the sanctity of human life. She also has a burgeoning focus on the other end of the reproductive health spectrum: perimenopause/menopause management.
Dr. Amua-Quarshie was recently certified by the North American Menopause Society (NAMS) as a certified menopause practitioner.
She has been married to her loving husband for over 17 years and has two children. Dr. Amua-Quarshie also has several other non-biological children dear to her heart, whom she teaches as a lead teacher in the children’s ministry of her church.

Nathan Mordel, MD, is a board-certified gynecological surgeon at Atlanta Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Center in Atlanta, Georgia. He specializes in advanced robotic, laparoscopic, vaginal pelvic surgery, including for fibroids, endometriosis, heavy and/or painful menstrual periods, pelvic organ prolapse, and urinary incontinence.
Dr. Mordel received his medical training at Hadassah Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel, graduating with a degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After coming to the United States, he completed a residency in Gynecology and Obstetrics and a fellowship in advanced pelvic surgery at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
Dr. Mordel has been practicing in Tifton, Georgia, since July of 1998. In 2002, he came back to Atlanta, started AMIGS, and joined the Piedmont Hospital staff. Dr. Mordel has performed thousands of robotic and laparoscopic cases - over 2,500 hysterectomies and myomectomies for uteri up to 3,000 grams (7 pounds). He has performed over 500 sacrocolpopexies and over 500 excisions of endometriosis. His conversion rate is less than 0.2%. Certain complex cases require multispecialty participation - Dr.Mordel collaborates with robotically trained colorectal, urological and transplant surgeons.

Julia Samaddar, MD, MPH, FACOG is a board-certified physician serving patients in Atlanta, Georgia providing obstetrics and gynecology services to the Georgia community. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry from Emory University in Atlanta, Dr. Samaddar went on to earn a Master of Public Health and Health Informatics from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta.
Dr. Samaddar completed her medical education at the Medical College of Georgia where she received a Doctor of Medicine degree. As she was drawn to surgery and Ob/Gyn care, Dr. Samaddar continued her education at the Medical College of Georgia where she completed her residency in Ob/Gyn. She's received training in high-risk obstetrics, reproductive endocrinology and infertility, gynecology oncology, and urogynecology. In addition to her medical training, Dr. Samaddar has been in several publications relating to breast cancer and antiestrogen resistance. Lauren M. Little, MD, FACOG is an OB/GYN in Atlanta, Georgia. She is proud to serve patients at Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates.
Dr. Little was born and raised near Boulder, Colorado. She completed her undergraduate education at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in anthropology and biomedical sciences.
After receiving her medical degree at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Memorial Health University Medical Center, affiliated with Mercer University, in Savannah, Georgia. During her residency, she served as the Administrative Chief Resident for the hospital and received recognition from the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine for her work in obstetrics.
During her training, Dr. Little became involved in Junior Fellow leadership for the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, holding the title of Georgia Section Vice-Chair. She has been involved in lobbying for maternal health at the state and national levels. She has authored publications on topics involving enhanced recovery at the time of cesarean sections and placental pathology related to preeclampsia.

Peter J. Barratt, MD, FACOG, is an OB/GYN serving patients in the Atlanta, Georgia, area. He joined the team at Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates in July 2005. Dr. Barratt has been in practice in Atlanta since 1986. He earned his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Ohio and completed his internship and residency and obstetrics and gynecology at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio.
Prior to joining the team at Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates, he served as President of Prime Time Obstetrics and Gynecology for 16 years. Dr. Barratt has served on the boards of West Paces Medical Center, the Medical Association of Atlanta, the Trinity Early Learning Center, and the Agape Youth and Family Center. Jacqui Fisch, MD, FACOG, is an OB/GYN serving patients in Atlanta, Georgia. She has been with the team at Atlanta Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates since 1998.
Dr. Fisch obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Cape Town Medical School in South Africa. She then completed an internship in general and trauma surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, as well as internal medicine at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg in South Africa. Afterward, she completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and her fellowship in pelvic imaging.
She is a member of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is affiliated with Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. In addition to her OB/GYN career, Dr. Fisch is trained and works in non-invasive aesthetics.
Dr. Fisch an avid outdoorswoman and loves hiking, horse riding, wakeboarding, and traveling the world with her family. She founded a non-profit organization in Tanzania that promotes and supports education. She lives in Buckhead with her two children and two furry children.
