Dr. Patel holds medical and surgical degrees from Sardar Patel University’s PramukhSwami Medical College in Gujarat, India, graduating in 1995. OB/GYN Dr. Maryam Ardalan of Women Elite Care, Inc. in Valencia, California, chose her life-long career path when she was only thirteen years old. Her passion for helping heal members of her community made her pursue medical training. She attended the West Azerbaijan University of Medical Sciences in Iran. During her medical externship, she began to love the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She was fascinated by how educating and treating women would help them live long and healthy lives.

Once she finished her externship, Dr. Ardalan completed four years of residency training as an OB/GYN. She graduated with honors and began working with diagnosing and treating infertile couples. Throughout the years she has participated in multiple research projects involving infertility.

Following completion of residency training in Iran, Dr. Ardalan began work in the rural areas of Northwestern Iran. She later had the opportunity to participate in an OB/GYN clinical rotation in Vienna, Austria for a year.

After finishing her rotation in Austria, she immigrated to the United States with her family. Her love and dedication to Obstetrics and Gynecology gave her the drive to successfully complete the Medical Board examinations and re-enter four years of residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Upon completion, she started a position at the University of San Francisco as an assistant professor in the department of OB/GYN for two years where she was tasked with instructing medical students and residents. Dr. Ardalan moved to Valencia, California, shortly after and has been working in the area since 2009.

In obstetrics, his group’s work in ultrasonography to predicate preterm labor was published and received several awards. In the area of infertility and endocrinology, Dr. Navizadeh's works contributed to the understanding of the effects of an embryo’s size and quality in the process of in-vitro fertilization (IVF). Dr. Navizadeh completed the prestigious Galloway fellowship at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. There, he had the opportunity to advance his surgical skills in complex gynecological operations in addition to learning the latest laparoscopic and endoscope techniques.

Dr. Navizadeh has also expanded his interest to urogynecology and pelvic surgery. In southern California, he pioneered the use of the new Transopturator Sling procedure for treating female urinary incontinence.

Yonatan Mahller, MD, Ph.D., provides expert obstetric and gynecologic care to women of all ages at Orange County OBGYN in Orange County. Patients can access a full range of services at his office in Newport Beach, California, where he offers well-woman care, care for low and high-risk pregnancies, pre-conception and infertility counseling and treatment for menopause. Dr. Mahller is a native of Southern California. While at the University of California at Santa Barbara, he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in physiology and a Master’s degree in molecular biology. During residency, Dr. Mahller created and implemented a course for OB/GYN residents, teaching them the Spanish needed to provide care to Spanish-speaking patients.

Shelly R. Coe, MD, MSc, NCMP, is a UCLA-trained gynecologist and a certified menopause practitioner in Newport Beach, California. Dr. Coe takes an evidence-based approach to care, focusing on her patients’ physical and social wellbeing. She’s passionate about building trust, and partners with patients on their journey to meet their health and wellness goals. She provides expert care to women of all ages, including teens.  

Education

Dr. Coe received her bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton and her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. She remained at the UCLA Medical Center to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She was certified as a menopause practitioner by the North American Menopause Society in 2012. To further her education, Dr. Coe recently received her Master of Science in health policy from City, University of London in the UK, and has a dedicated interest in health care reform and public policy.

 

Personal

Dr. Coe was born and raised in Orange County, California until the age of 12 when she moved with her family to Montana. After graduating high school, she returned to Southern California where she–a first-generation college student–worked full-time to fund her education in the pursuit of becoming a physician. She has always been an avid athlete, paddling for 10 years on the Dana Point outrigger canoe team throughout her undergraduate education and running, swimming, and biking throughout medical school and residency. After finally mastering her chosen field of Obstetrics and Gynecology, she worked in private practice in Newport Beach, CA until her second child was born, after which she reduced her practice to surgery assisting in order to spend more time with her family. When her mother suffered a permanent spinal cord injury from a horse accident, she put her career on hold and moved to Montana to be near her parents. She raised her children between Whitefish, Montana and London, England. This time spent collecting adventures and memories with her children is priceless to her. With both children now in college, she was able to return to private practice in Newport Beach, CA to re-engage with her life-long passion and commitment to collaborating with women to meet their healthcare goals and live empowered lives. She has worked tirelessly towards her re-entry process and developing her private practice goals. She has survived many expected and unexpected transitions in life and overcoming these challenges has inspired her to be a brave advocate for empowering women to take charge of the factors that influence their health and overall wellness. She remains a devoted mom.

When she’s not improving her patients’ health, Dr. Coe channels her creative energy and desire to work with her hands into gardening, cooking, and drawing–she even started college as an art major! She would call herself a “foodie”, loves to perfect recipes, and enjoys learning about new cultures through food. She is also a health and fitness enthusiast and enjoys active travel with her friends and family, including biking, hiking, and skiing.

Hello! I am Nidhee Sachdev, MD, a double board-certified and fellowship-trained reproductive endocrinologist and infertility expert.

I have had the opportunity to train at some of the most prestigious and diverse medical programs in the country, including fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the New York University (NYU) Langone Fertility Center in New York City, where I conducted research on preimplantation genetic screening (PGS). I also trained at the University of Chicago Medical Center, where I earned the academic distinction of academic chief resident in obstetrics and gynecology, and worked under a top expert in recurrent pregnancy loss.

I am passionate about providing individualized, collaborative patient care. I started my medical career here in Orange County, where I earned my Doctor of Medicine at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine. I also completed my Bachelor of Science in human biology at the University of California, San Diego.

My research has been published in numerous respected publications, and I have received multiple teaching awards. I have also presented my research across the country. I am board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

After traveling across the country in recent years, I am thrilled to be back in Southern California, advocating for reproductive health and successful family building journeys for my patients. I see patients at OC Fertility® in Newport Beach, California, where I am a trusted expert in all areas of fertility. I have a particular interest in preservation, such as egg, sperm, and embryo freezing, as well as how genetics play a role with in vitro fertilization (IVF) and patients with recurrent pregnancy loss.

David Ahdoot, M.D., FACOG is a board-certified OB-GYN, who serves as a diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Ahdoot obtained his medical degree at the University of California San Diego before going on to complete a nationally renowned residency program in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California Irvine. He has authored more than 30 publications and is the recipient of numerous awards including Patient’s Choice Award and the Top 10 Doctor Award in Los Angeles.

In addition to seeing patients at his private practice, he also has an academic affiliation as an assistant clinical professor at UCLA. Dr. Ahdoot has privileges with three area hospitals: Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center, Encino-Tarzana Hospital, and Providence Holy Cross Hospital. Dr. Ahdoot is bilingual in both English and Spanish to better serve the patients in the community.
