Dr. Smith graduated from Yale University Medical School of Medicine in 2003. He then completed a neurosurgical residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center Department of Neurosurgery. He rounded out his medical training with an additional orthopedic complex spine fellowship at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. Today, Dr. Smith performs surgical procedures at several top tier hospitals in the New York and New Jersey area.

Jeff Pan, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon with his own private practice in Edison, New Jersey. He brings over 17 years of experience to the communities of Middlesex County and the surrounding areas.
Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Pan completed his undergraduate studies, graduating Cum Laude, from the State University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo, where he majored in biophysics. Thereafter, he went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, before completing his general surgery internship at the same institution. While at SUNY Downstate, he also completed a neurosurgery residency, where he served as chief resident in his final year. Then, in 2004 Dr. Pan completed a fellowship in complex spine surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
As a respected member of the medical community, Dr. Pan has contributed to numerous research projects, presentations, and publications. He also maintains professional affiliations with several professional organizations, including the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, and the Joint Section on Disorders of the Spine and Peripheral Nerves. Dr. Pan is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgeons.
Dr. David Wells-Roth is board-certified and fellowship-trained in neurosurgery. He attended medical school at George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., followed by a residency at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. During his fellowship, he trained in interventional neuroradiology and in skull-based neurovascular surgery. Dr. Wells-Roth obtained additional training in oncologic surgery of the brain and spine at Memorial Sloan Kettering.
Dr. Wells-Roth provides the highest quality cerebrovascular surgical and endovascular techniques to patients with acquired and congenital neurovascular disease. He has expertise in minimally invasive spinal surgery and complex spinal instrumentation. With an emphasis on patient care and communication, Dr. Wells-Roth makes his patients feel comfortable before and after surgery.
