Jon Krumerman M.D., graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Cornell University in 1991 and continued his education at the University of Florida College of Medicine, graduating with Alpha Omega Alpha honors in 1995. He completed his neurosurgery training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
Dr. Krumerman has been with Dallas Neurosurgical & Spine since 2001. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He was recently awarded the Patient’s Choice Award for the second year in a row. Fewer than 5% of the physicians in the country are recognized with this honor, which is based on high marks in areas like doctor-patient face time and degree of follow-up. Dr. Zachary Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Mississippi College, where he graduated with honors in 2011. After that, he completed medical school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, earning his MD in 2016. During his time in medical school, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Societies, was selected by his peers for induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, and received the UMMC Neurosurgery Merit Award.
Following medical school, Dr. Johnson completed both his residency in neurosurgery and a spine surgery fellowship at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. His fellowship focused on surgical treatment for the full spectrum of spine pathology, from minimally invasive techniques, including spinal surgical robotics, to complex spine pathologies, including spinal deformity and spinal oncology.
Dr. Desaloms graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1988 Summa Cum Laude. He then graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in 1992. He completed a residency in Neurosurgery in 1998 after an internship in General Surgery at Baylor in 1993. He was Chief Resident in Neurosurgery from 1997-1998.
