Stephanie Ritter, MD, is a double-board-certified neurologist and sleep medicine specialist at Riverhills Neuroscience, providing complete neurology care to people in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Crestview, Kentucky.
Dr. Ritter began her career pursuits at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, earning her Bachelor of Science in exercise science. Then, she enrolled at the University of Toledo Health Science Campus in Ohio and obtained her medical degree.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Ritter completed a neurology residency at the University of Cincinnati (UC) Medical Center in Ohio and a sleep medicine fellowship at Stanford University in Stanford, California.
At Riverhills Neuroscience, Dr. Ritter diagnoses and treats various neurological conditions, and she has special interests in managing sleep disorders, including sleep apnea, restless legs syndrome, narcolepsy, and insomnia.

Samantha DiMeo, CNP, is a family nurse practitioner and advanced practice registered nurse, bringing more than a decade of experience to Riverhills Neuroscience in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Crenshaw, Kentucky.
Samantha always wanted to be a nurse. She began her studies at Bohecker College, earning her associate’s degree in nursing. Then, Samantha obtained her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Ohio University and her Master of Science in nursing from Indiana Wesleyan University.
At Riverhills Neuroscience, Samantha works with patients of all ages, but she has a special interest in pediatric neurology. She formerly worked at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and is uniquely qualified to treat children and teens.
Samantha holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). She’s also certified on the National Institute of Health’s (NIH) Stroke Scale –– a set of criteria used to assess the neurological function of stroke patients.
Since starting her career, Samantha has served in various medical settings, including Mercy Health Cincinnati in the progressive care unit and the cancer and blood disease institute at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
Outside of the office, Samantha enjoys honing her nursing skills. She’s an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and The Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Todd A. Hayes, DO, is a board-certified neurologist with over 20 years of experience. He currently serves patients at Riverhills Neuroscience's Norwood and Anderson locations in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he provides compassionate care and advanced treatments for various neurological disorders.
Dr. Hayes completed his doctoral degree in osteopathic medicine at Des Moines University, Osteopathic Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. He also completed a neurology residency at St. John Detroit Oakland Hospital in the Michigan State University System. In addition, Dr. Hayes attended a Master’s degree program in health and humanities and completed a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.
Dr. Hayes’ expertise includes general neurology, neuromuscular disorders, epilepsy, and electromyography (EMG).
He has been a recipient of several awards, including the Physician Excellence in Precepting from the Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine, the Dean's Recognition for Outstanding Performance and Contribution from the Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center, and the Outstanding Service and Leadership in the Community Award from Michigan State University.

Marsha Smith, MD, FAAN, is a board-certified neurologist specializing in movement disorders at Riverhills Neuroscience in Cincinnati, Ohio, at our Norwood and Anderson office locations.
Dr. Smith went to college at New York University in New York City, earning her Bachelor of Arts. The next year, she enrolled at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and obtained her Doctor of Medicine.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Smith completed an internal medicine internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and a neurology residency at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts.
The Harvard residency inspired Dr. Smith to develop a focused expertise. So, she completed a neurology fellowship in movement disorders at Emory University Hospital in Georgia. There, Dr. Smith received specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, and dystonia.
