She has broad clinical experience with minors, adults, and older adults across correctional, community, and healthcare sites. She has also contributed to the development of competency restoration programs in Broward and Palm Beach Counties and published a Springer book chapter on cultural considerations in sex trafficking.
Her research interests include potentially traumatic events across immigrant and non-immigrant populations, best practices for assessment and treatment, and severe mental illness in diverse settings. Dr. Basilio specializes in psychological evaluations and trauma-informed therapy.

Dr. Kurako received her medical degree from the Dnepropetrovsk Medical Academy in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. She completed her neurology residency at Cleveland Clinic in Florida. Dr. Kurako was also a movement disorders research fellow at Cleveland Clinic in Florida. She then went on to complete neuromuscular fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Kurako is passionate about educating future physicians as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Florida State University College of Medicine as well as an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Central Florida. She is widely published and continues to participate in multiple clinical trials.
Dr. Pawar is double board certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology with an interest in hyperacute management of stroke and establishing systems of care. He received his medical degree at B.J. Medical College in India before going on to Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio to complete an Internal Medicine residency followed by neurology residencies at Loyola Medical Center in Chicago and the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Following completion of his residencies, Dr. Pawar completed Fellowships in Vascular Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania, Endovascular Neurosurgery and Interventional Radiology at Abington Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania, and Advanced Vascular Neurology at the Medical University of South Carolina. He is coming to us from Duke University Medical Center where he served as Stroke Medical Director. He is widely published. He has varied interests and has participated in multiple clinical trials.
Dr. Trevor D. Barton, DO is a board-certified neurologist with advanced fellowship training in vascular neurology. Dr. Barton earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Nova Southeastern University's Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine. During his time there, he was selected for the prestigious Osteopathic Principles and Practice (OPP) Fellowship, where he gained additional clinical and academic training in osteopathic manipulative medicine and holistic patient care.
Following medical school, Dr. Barton completed his neurology residency at HCA HealthONE Swedish Medical Center. He went on to complete a fellowship in Vascular Neurology at the same institution, focusing on acute stroke care, stroke prevention, and advanced neuroimaging. With board certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Dr. Barton is dedicated to improving outcomes for patients with stroke, epilepsy, migraines, multiple sclerosis, and other neurological disorders.
Dr. Hylton is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in Clinical Neuropsychology. She graduated from the University of Florida with a double major in Psychology and Criminology and went on to study at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida, with emphasis in Forensic Psychology. While enduring her graduate studies, she discovered a fascination with the inner workings of the brain and its overall effects. With this interest, Dr. Hylton continued to build the foundation of her training with specialization in neuropsychology, study of the brain and the nervous system’s influence on an individual’s cognition and behavior. She has broad experience in the field of psychology such as specialized psychotherapy for those suffering traumas and experience providing individual and group Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), administering psychological evaluations to children and/or parents for guardianship, as well as research. Dr. Hylton specializes in neuropsychological evaluation and testing.
Jesus Vargas Soto, APRN is a foreign physician from Venezuela. Upon relocating to the United States, he began working in the medical field as an RN. He continued his education in the United States to earn his MSN-Family Nurse Practitioner degree. Jesus is a caring and compassionate provider who enjoys providing patients with high-quality care. Anthony Shydohub, MD, is a Neurologist specializing in neurophysiology/epilepsy. He received his medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean. Dr. Shydohub completed neurology residency at the University of South Alabama.
