Nicole Schertell, ND, is a licensed naturopathic doctor and founder of Thrive Med Spa & Wellness in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. In 2009, Dr. Schertell opened Vibrant Health Medical Center, which is located in the same building directly above their spa. In collaboration, their two facilities can provide health and wellness services on a broad scale, teaching patients how to heal on the inside and shine on the outside. Dr. Schertell earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire and her doctorate degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona, in 2008.
Dr. Schertell is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging medicine and has extensive training and experience with regenerative therapies, including bioidentical hormones, peptide therapies, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for facial rejuvenation and hair restoration, O-shots®,, IV therapy, laser hair removal, microneedling, hyaluronic acid fillers, and other natural-based aesthetic treatments. Together with their nurse practitioner, Alise Greenfield, they oversee and administer the medical aesthetic services featured at their spa.
Dr. Schertell uses innovative technology, such as state-of-the-art Cynosure Icon™ and TempSure® lasers. She also offers a transformational medical weight-loss program to help patients achieve a weight they feel confident in.
Dr. Schertell maintains her medical credentials with continuing education. She holds additional certification in peptide therapy, and she is a board-certified clinical thermographer (CCT) trained by the American College of Clinical Thermology. She is also a member of the International Lyme and Associated Disease Society (ILADS), as well as A4M.
She believes that prevention is the best medicine and takes a naturopathic approach in all her aesthetic treatments. Dr. Schertell and her team currently accept new patients and welcome them to Thrive Med Spa & Wellness.
