I have been a licensed massage therapist over 28 years. Most of my career, I have been practicing in an injury treatment, rehabilitation, post surgical, and relaxation settings. I have also discovered a new modality called Spontaneous Muscle Release Technique (SMRT) which has given me new tools to help release deep and hard to reach adhesions that can sometimes be painful with traditional massage. “I had a terrible experience with Anastasia at Holistic Health Center. I expected a full-body deep tissue massage, but she only worked on my shoulders and upper back for 50 minutes. She was very slow, and the pressure was too light. I asked for more pressure since tension there triggers my migraines, but she barely adjusted. She also left the light on, making it hard to relax. This was not a deep tissue massage at all, and I felt even more pain after the visit. I don’t recommend her.”
