During her time at CSUN, she volunteered with The CSUN HelpLine, where she was trained to take crisis calls and provide resources when needed. She joined Adelpha before she graduated from CSUN and worked as an office admin while pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pepperdine University. During her master’s program, she also completed an MFT internship where she worked with adults and teens and provided weekly psychotherapy.
Melissa is dedicated to creating a safe and judgment-free environment and helping individuals find peace, heal their inner child and past traumas. Brooke Balliett, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist (52456) at the California Center for Psychedelic Therapy located in Hollywood, California. Her life's work is dedicated to stewarding psychological, spiritual & relationship health through self-awareness, emotional intelligence & recognition of the unique drive towards authenticity held within each of us.
From a framework integrating trauma, developmental & transpersonal psychology, Brooke provides, trains, and mentors multiple psychedelic-assisted psychotherapies, including MDMA-assisted therapy, psilocybin therapy, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy. Additionally, she was a leader in psychedelic risk reduction services with the Zendo Project & Kosmicare as they pioneered psychedelic emergency care, drug education and peer support worldwide. Vitoria Cottiss, AMFT (146982), is a bilingual Associate Marriage and Family Therapist completing her post-graduate clinical fellowship in psychedelic psychotherapies at the center. Vitoria nurtures deep self-awareness and focuses on uncovering and understanding the hidden layers of experiences and behaviors. Her holistic, trauma-informed, and inclusive approach carefully integrates the unique occupational, social, sexual, cultural and spiritual identities of her clients as essential aspects of the therapeutic journey.
Clinically trained in psychodynamic, emotionally-focused, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapies, her diverse experience includes working in grief camps, educational settings and substance abuse treatment centers, where she has honed her skills in providing compassionate care. Vitoria also holds certifications in breathwork and meditation, often integrating these supportive mindfulness tools into her therapeutic practice.
