Dr. Raabia Ahmad is originally from St. Louis, Missouri where she attended college at Washington University. After completing her Bachelor’s Degree, she attended medical school at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Dr. Ahmad then completed her residency and cardiology fellowship at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. After completing her medical training, she worked outside Boston in the Mass General Brigham system for 5 years before moving to the Bay Area in search of warmer weather. She joined Advanced Cardiovascular Specialists in 2021 and has built a successful practice during her short time here. She also has taken on several administrative roles including President of ACS and is the co-medical director for Heart Failure at El Camino Hospital.
Dr. Ahmad is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. She has a special clinical interest in congestive heart failure, preventive cardiology, women’s heart disease, cardiac imaging, and valvular disease.
