Dr. Abdullah moved to the United States from Paris, France, where he was trained in cardiology at one of the best hospitals in Paris. He pursued his training in medicine in interventional cardiology at the best schools in the United States – the University of Pennsylvania and Yale University – where he defined his knowledge in cardiology in general and interventional cardiology in particular. Dr. Abdullah is very well trained in echocardiography and Doppler examinations, and he is board certified in this field, both from France and the United States.
In the summer of 2000, he moved to the Port Arthur area to join the family of Gulf Coast Cardiology Group. He and his wife, Lana, have two young children, Danny and Hannah, who are happy in this quiet area. Dr. Morbia is triple board certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Internal Medicine and is a fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Chest Physicians.
Dr. Morbia moved to the Port Arthur area from Los Angeles, California, where he had a very busy cardiology practice. Because the traffic in the city did not allow him to reach his patients in a timely manner in an emergency, he decided to move to the smaller city of Port Arthur so that he could provide his patients with the best care available, including emergency care. Prior to being in Los Angeles, he was trained in cardiovascular medicine in the Chicago area at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois. He trained for seven years in different areas of medicine, including a rotating internship in various fields of medicine and surgery. He completed three years of internal medicine residency and three years of the cardiovascular medicine fellowship training program.
Dr. Morbia has been practicing as an interventional cardiologist since 1988. She was born and raised in Orange, Tx and now resides in Beaumont. She is married with 2 children, and enjoys baking, doing crafts, and watching baseball in her spare time.
Russell K. Perry, MD, is an experienced allergist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic allergies, asthma, and related skin conditions like eczema at Family Allergy & Asthma Center in Beaumont, Texas.
Dr. Perry was born and raised in southeast Texas. He majored in biomedical science at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, before earning his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
