Gitendra Rajiyah, MD, is a double-board-certified internal medicine physician and cardiologist at The Heart Center of the Oranges, PA, serving patients at the East Orange, New Jersey, office on Evergreen Place. The practice also has offices in West Orange, South Orange, Maplewood, Newark, and Bloomfield, New Jersey. 

Dr. Rajiyah studied at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, earning his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). He then spent several years gaining experience in internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics, gynecology, neurology, geriatrics, and psychology.

In 1988, Dr. Rajiyah enrolled at the University of London in the United Kingdom and completed an internal medicine and psychiatry fellowship at the University College Hospital. Dr. Milone was born in Oceanside, New York, and was the valedictorian at Chaminade High School in Mineola, New York. He graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. During his undergraduate years, he studied as an exchange student at Oxford University in Oxford, England.

Dr. Milone earned his medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and won the school’s Orthopaedic Research Prize. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at New York University Langone Orthopedics in New York City and went on to finish a fellowship in hand, upper extremity, and microvascular surgery at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
