She also spent time as a College Biology and Pre-Med Mentor for the STEMPREP program at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.

Nathan Jent is a certified Physician Assistant at Michigan Avenue Primary Care, a multispecialty practice located in The Loop of downtown Chicago, Illinois.
Nathan earned a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree at Butler University in Indianapolis in 2019. During his time at Butler, Nathan was heavily involved on campus working as a new student orientation guide and an executive chair for Dance Marathon, a large peer-to-peer fundraising initiative focused on raising money and awareness for children's medical care, including cancer research and maternity support. He then went on to earn his Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree in 2021, also at Butler University. Nathan remains a Bulldog fan and enjoys watching his alma mater on the basketball court (Go Dawgs!).
Nathan started his career in orthopedics, and he continues to enjoy seeing patients for a variety of orthopedic complaints including joint pain, athletic injuries, and nutrition and fitness. His interests in medicine also include helping patients achieve their goals, big and small, through pro-lifestyle changes and medical management.
Nathan enjoys working at Michigan Avenue Primary Care for several reasons, namely getting to meet and lend a helping hand to a variety of patients while also getting to work with a team of such kind, talented, and highly motivated people.
In his free time, Nathan enjoys spending his time playing golf, weight training, adventuring the city with his spouse, and home cooking nutrient-rich and delicious foods. He also loves dogs and experiencing new things whenever possible.
Ilja Faibussowitsch, M.D., is a pulmonologist, specializing in critical care and sleep problems. He is currently a diplomat of the American Boards of Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Sleep Medicine and Internal Medicine. Fluent in Fluent in Russian, German, and English, Dr. Faibussowitsch enjoys traveling when he is not seeing patients. His primary objective is to pursue clinical practice in the field of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
Mukesh Ahluwalia, MD, is a board-certified pulmonologist/intensivist and sleep medicine specialist. Since 1999, he’s been treating patients at Respiratory, Critical Care, and Sleep Specialists, which has three offices conveniently located in Des Plaines, Oak Park, and Chicago’s Portage Park in Illinois.
Dr. Ahluwalia earned his medical degree from the University College of Medical Sciences at the University of Delhi in New Delhi, India. He stayed in New Delhi for his internship, which he completed at the Safdarjung Hospital, but then relocated to Chicago for his internal medicine residency, which he completed at Grant Hospital of Chicago and Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital, now known as Rush University Medical Center. Before finishing, his program awarded him with a certificate of outstanding teaching to the house staff of medical students.
Dr. Ahluwalia finished his post-graduate training in New York, with a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn and a fellowship in critical care medicine at the University of Rochester’s Strong Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Ahluwalia is highly skilled in his specialties, and he maintains board-certification in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine. He’s a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine, and his work has been published in the Journal of Bronchology.
Dr. Ahluwalia is skilled in performing all invasive procedures in the fields of pulmonary medicine, sleep medicine, and critical care, and he looks forward to utilizing those abilities to help his patients be as healthy and happy as possible.

Saira Khanna MD is a board-certified medical and surgical retina specialist at Retina Consultants Ltd. Dr. Khanna earned her undergraduate degree in Neurobiology with minors in Spanish and Economics at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She attended the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health for medical school. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Chicago and continued her medical training in vitreoretinal surgery, completing her fellowship at The Retina Institute in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Khanna's areas of expertise include diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal vascular diseases, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, uveitis, and other retinal pathologies. Manish Dhamija, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist at Advanced GI, LLC. He has greater than 10 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology and is dedicated to serving patients in the Lake View/Lincoln Park area of Chicago, Illinois as well as patients who hail from various other neighborhoods throughout the Chicagoland area.
After graduating from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH with a Bachelors of Science in Natural Sciences, Dr. Dhamija earned his medical degree from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago followed by fellowship training in gastroenterology at University of South Florida in Tampa, FL. He also completed subspecialty fellowship training in Hepatology at University of Illinois Hospital in Chicago.
Post-fellowship, Dr. Dhamija worked in academics as a clinical assistant professor at a hospital associated with Midwestern University where he spent time teaching medical students and residents while training gastroenterology fellows.
