Zacharia Reda, M.D., is board certified in pediatric medicine and pediatric critical care. He served his residency at LAC/ University of Southern California Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Additionally, he completed a pediatric critical care fellowship at UCLA. Dr. Reda serves as Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center, and served as associate director of PICU at Miller Children's, St. Vincent, and Valley Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Reda was chosen by his peers in (OCMA) as one of the best doctors in his field 2005, 2006, and 2007. Dr. Reda has special interest in ventilatory care for children, pulmonary medicine and asthma.
He has taught residents and fellows at both UCI and UCLA for many years. Dr. Reda frequently participates in medical society functions to present his research findings. He serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at UCI. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Chest Physicians.
