Dr. Owusu (affectionately known as Dr. O) is an incredibly talented and compassionate Physician in Louisville, KY. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, where she also completed her residency in Internal Medicine. Her philosophy is to treat the whole person, recognizing each individual’s unique circumstances and attending to their specific healthcare needs. It is her firm stance that patients should be able to reach their doctor when they need care and not have to wait for days and weeks. Her concierge model offers her the ability to take care of her patients the right way – like family.
Through active listening, compassionate caring and intellectual inquiring, I strive to provide excellent service to attain wellness and optimal health.
“I couldn’t leave a good enough review with only 500 characters. Dr. Rondo is the best doctor I have been too. My appointment was at 10am as a new patient and I left well after noon. I felt so heard and validated and taken care of. Dr. Rondo takes her on vitals and body exam. Apart from being a great doctor she just talked to me as a person and not just a patient. The office she’s at is nice, and everyone was great to my daughter who I had to bring with me. I’ll recommend her to everyone.”
Developing a close and trusting provider-patient relationship is essential to helping patients meet their healthcare goals. I believe in looking at all aspects of a patient's life; physical, mental, spiritual, cultural; rather than just an illness or disease, in order to provide the best care. I began my career working in Pediatric Intensive Care treating children with a wide range of critical conditions such as congenital heart defects, respiratory failure, and childhood cancers. My training during my graduate program focused on Family and Internal medicine. I focus on treating the whole family, newborn to the elderly, and helping those with multiple chronic illnesses improve their quality of life. I completed some additional training in Dermatology and provide skin lesion removal, cosmetic botox, and Isotretioin prescriptions. Preventative care is such an important aspect of our health, and I provide and discuss preventative procedures and screenings with my patients.
