Dr. Nassir’s academic career at Cornell University was reaching new horizons when his father was diagnosed with terminal stage 4 prostate cancer. To be near his family during his father’s final months, Dr. Nassir made the difficult decision to transfer his medical schooling to UCLA. As he supported his father through his cancer treatment, he witnessed the vital role that oncologists play in the lives of cancer patients and their families. Through this pivotal, first-hand experience, Dr. Nassir realized his calling in the field of oncology.

After receiving his Doctor of Medicine from the UCLA School of Medicine in 1996, Dr. Nassir continued his medical training as an intern and resident for the next three years at UCLA Medical Center. In 1999, he chose to attend USC Medical Center and Norris Cancer Center as a hematology and oncology fellow, where he completed his hematology/oncology fellowship under the guidance of world-class mentors in both fields.

Dr. Nassir has been in practice for more than twenty years. He currently practices at his private practice, Cancer Care Institute, and is independently affiliated with Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. With a broad range of experience, Dr. Matchison is proud to serve the communities of Torrance and Redondo Beach, California.

Dr. Matchison earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson, before attending Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio. He later completed his residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California, and a general cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowship at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center in Los Angeles.

As an experienced cardiologist, Dr. Matchison specializes in the management of advanced cardiac disease, cardiac catheterization, coronary stent placement,  echocardiography, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), and stress echocardiography.

He completed internal medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and cardiology fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Healy then completed interventional cardiology fellowship at Scripps Clinic in San Diego, followed by advanced training in structural heart, peripheral vascular, and complex coronary interventions. He is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, vascular interpretation, and cardiac CT.

Prior to being recruited to COR Healthcare, Dr. Healy worked as an interventional cardiologist at Scripps Clinic where he was part of the teaching faculty of the fellowship training program. Dr. Healy prides himself on providing evidence-based, cutting-edge care to his patients and has been a co-investigator in several clinical trials for novel interventional device technologies.

Brenton Bauer, MD, is a board-certified internist and cardiologist at COR Healthcare in Los Angeles. He sees patients at the Torrance, Redondo Beach and El Segundo offices in addition to the cardiology department at Torrance Memorial Medical Center.  He specializes in general cardiology, cardio-oncology, and advanced cardiac imaging.

Dr. Bauer completed his medical education and advanced training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). In addition to earning his Doctor of Medicine with honors, Dr. Bauer completed an internal medicine internship and residency, serving as chief resident, and a cardiovascular disease fellowship serving as chief fellow. He has been certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in addition to subspecialty boards of Echocardiography, Cardiovascular CT, and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Bauer has written extensively for medical journals and other publications.

Eric Castleman, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist and internist at COR Healthcare Medical Associates in Los Angeles. Dr. Castleman earned his medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City before moving to California for his medical training. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Medical Center and a cardiology fellowship from UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, California.

Dr. Reddy graduated from Rangaraya Medical College, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, in Kakinada, India, in 1982. He completed an internship at Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital in Chennai, India, before relocating to the United States. Dr. Reddy moved to Detroit, Michigan, and completed his internal medicine residency at Wayne State University.

Passionate about his work, Dr. Reddy pursued additional education by completing cardiology and nuclear cardiology fellowships at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He has treated a variety of cardiac cases ever since, including cardiac rehabilitation, heart attack, carotid ultrasound, hypertension, heart disease, and more.
