Dr. Farhy was born and raised in Argentina where he graduated from the National University of Cordoba with high honors. After relocating to Detroit, he worked in vascular research and completed his residency in internal medicine at Henry Ford Hospital. After completing his fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, he returned to the Detroit area where he has been in private practice since 1998.
Dr. Farhy holds board certification in three medical specialties: cardiovascular diseases, nuclear cardiology, and venous and lymphatic medicine. He has extensively trained in all aspects of diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases, especially treatment of venous insufficiency.

I earned my degree at the University of Michigan and I am board certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology and Addiction Medicine. I am interested in improving communication between inpatient and outpatient providers, and in eliminating stigma surrounding substance use disorders.
